Nemesis Reborn At Alton Towers; How To Get Ahead Of The Queues

Nemesis Reborn is proving to be a popular attraction at Alton Towers so we’ve been along to see how you can get ahead of the queues on your next visit to the park.  This revamped coaster has been out of operation for some time as Alton Towers replaced all the track and gave it a complete overhaul.  Now back with a vengeance for the start of the 2024 theme park season, Nemesis Reborn is drawing in the crowds so we’ve put together some tips to get ahead of the queues.

1. Nemesis Reborn; Fastrack Solo

If you want to circumnavigate the queues, invest in a Fastrack ticket either as part of a package or simply pick up a Fastrack Solo on the day.  Solos are subject to availability so best to pick this up as soon as you enter the park.  Fastracks can be purchased from guest services dotted around the park. We found that Guest Services located on Towers Street or the unmarked Guest Services booth in Forbidden Valley, (close to Blade & the Generator – Refuelling Company), were the easiest to access.  Fastrack Solos for Nemesis Reborn are priced from £10pp where you’ll be able to select a time during the day to access the ride via a separate entrance.  Whilst you’ll bypass the bulk of the queues, anticipate a 10/15 minute wait from entering the Fastrack line to accessing the ride.

PICK UP Alton Towers Tickets from £29pp – save up to £39pp off walk up prices.

2. Nemesis Reborn; Early Bird

If you want to access Nemesis Reborn without forking out for fastrack tickets, then we’ve put some steps together below that help you avoid the queues. Aim arrive an hour before stipulated opening times as the park opens significantly earlier than the rides. On our recent visit, the monorail was running an hour before the park opened for the day so it meant we could park up, navigate bag searches and ticket kiosks ahead of the crowds – we were actually in the park 40 minutes before the rides opened for the day! If can visit on off-peak times away from school holidays and weekends, you’ll of course find the park significantly quieter.

3. Nemesis Reborn; Be Ready To Walk

Don’t wait for the Sky Ride to open, get your steps in and head straight over to Forbidden Valley.  You’ll see the path clearly marked from the edge of Battle Galleons via Gloomy Wood following signage for Forbidden Valley.  It’s around a 10 minute walk and, during our recent visit, we made it to Forbidden Valley 30 minutes before the rides opened for the day.

4. Nemesis Reborn; Queue Before The Ride Opens

Join the start of the queue that forms outside the metal railings to the entrance to Nemesis Reborn – as we joined this queue there were about 100 people ahead of us .  As the gates open at the stipulated ride opening time, you’ll be able to navigate the walk through to the ride and we were on the ride within 15 minutes .  This will be undoubtably be the shortest queue time you’ll find during the theme park day as queues tend to build throughout the day.

5. Nemesis Reborn; Fastrack Packages

If you’ve managed early access Nemesis Reborn by following the steps above, then a Fastrack Solo could give you a second opportunity to ride as the queues begin to build for the day. However, Fastrack Solos are subject to availability and cannot be purchased online in advance.

If you want to guarantee fastrack entry to Nemesis Reborn, you’ll need to invest in package that includes Nemesis Reborn, (we currently can see that Fastrack Platinum priced at £130pp that includes unlimited fastrack entry to 14 of the main thrill rides).  Remember fastracks are in addition to theme park entry.

6. Nemesis Reborn; Parent Q Share

For those visiting Alton Towers with children under the age of 12, you can make use of the FREE Parent Q Share Pass that allows parents/carers to enjoy the thrill rides without having to queue twice.  The Parent Q Share cannot be booked in advance and must be collected from Alton Towers on the day via Guest Services or Resort Box Office.  Parent 1 will queue for the main thrill rides using the main queue line, making staff aware that that they are are a Parent Q Share passholder so their pass is stamped. Parent 2 can then take the pass to the Fastrack queue line and access quick entry. Parent Q Share is only available on 10 thrill rides that includes Nemesis Reborn.
