For those planning a Budget Break to London you’ll be looking to keep the costs down on attractions as well as find a deal on theatre tickets for those looking to take in a show, (more details below).

1. Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre, (£5 Rush Tickets)

Each summer, Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre in London runs a popular £5 rush ticket offer. Each Friday at 11am, The Globe releases a number of £5 standing tickets for performances taking place the following week.  Running on a first-come-first-served basis, you can find more details available at Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre Rush Tickets.

Alternatively pick up £10 standing tickets in the Yard where there are 700 standing tickets available for each performance. Whilst the standing area does have one of the best views of the theatre, it does mean you will need to stand throughout the performance.  Performances can last 2.5 to 3 hours including an interval.

2. The National Theatre £10 Friday Rush Tickets

Here’s a chance to pick up top London theatre tickets from just £10pp where you can scoop up seats for a fraction of standard price seating.  Limited to last minute availability, rush tickets offer substantial savings off top London theatre seat prices for those that can book and see at short notice. 3. RSC Tickets; £25 Rush Tickets

The RSC now offers discounted Rush tickets on selected performances in the Royal Shakespeare & Swan theatres. Tickets are priced at just £25pp, (or £10 restricted view) where seats are allocated on a first-come-first-served basis. 4. London; Royal Court Theatre; £15 Monday Tickets

Look out for this Monday £15 ticket promotion that runs at the Royal Court Theatre each week. Located in Sloane Square London, the Royal Court Theatre releases discounted tickets each Monday at 9am on the day of the show. 5. The Minack Theatre, (Cornwall)

6. The New Vic; FREE ticket offer, (Newcastle)

The New Vic theatre in Staffordshire offers 50 FREE tickets for  most productions for those age 16-26 years.  Tickets are allocated on a first-come-first-served basis with tickets available Monday – Friday.  Two tickets per booking are available & limited to one pair of free tickets per season.  More details available at The New Vic; Under 26’s Go Free.

7. DisneyTickets Magic Mondays

DisneyTickets releases a limited number of tickets for that week’s performances every Monday at 12 noon with tickets available for £29.50pp.  Simply sign up and log in early to ensure you are ready to go as soon as the tickets are released to be in with a chance of picking up cheap tickets in this Magic Monday promotion. 8. London Theatre Week

London Theatre Week offers discounted theatre tickets to top London shows with tickets available from just £15pp.  With popular musicals, classic West End plays, immersive shows &  cabarets included within this promotion, this can offer substantial savings off standard price tickets. 9. Kids Week, (London)

This Kids Week promotion runs during July & August each year, offering FREE child tickets for top London shows. This free ticket promotion is available on a range of popular performances when a child is accompanied by a full paying adult.  This can offer value for money for those planning to take in a show over the busy school summer holidays.  Bookings tend to open in June with tickets available for a range of shows. 10. Everyman Playhouse Theatre, (£5 tickets)

11. The National Theatre £10 Tickets, (16-25 year olds)

12. Sheffield Theatres, (£5 tickets)

13. Scottish Opera, (£15 for under 26’s)
