Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre, (£5 Rush Tickets)

The Globe Theatre in London now runs a popular £5 summer rush ticket offer that offers value for money. Here’s a chance to access £5 standing tickets, (known as Groundling tickets), for upcoming performances including sold-out shows.  Rush tickets are released every Friday at 11am, for performances taking place the following week running on a first-come-first-served basis.

For those interested in getting involved, worth checking each Monday to see the full list of performances participating in this promotion. On Friday, in the run up to 11am, you’ll see a ‘Book £5 Rush’ button appear on the screen. Click the link for tickets where you’ll be assigned a random queue number. Once you’ve reached the front of the queue, simply select the performance followed by ‘Yard’ from the seating map.  If there are any remaining £5 tickets, you will be able to make a purchase.

Worth noting that whilst the standing area does have one of the best views of the theatre, it does mean you will need to stand throughout the performance. Performances can last 2.5 to 3 hours including an interval.
