We’re starting to see a number of top visitor attractions beginning to acknowledge the difficulties low income families have in accessing leisure facilities at this time and taken steps to offer reduced price tickets. Each attraction offers varying terms and conditions so best to check with each attraction to avoid disappointment.
1. London Zoo; Reduced Priced Universal Credit Tickets
Low income families can pick up reduced priced tickets to the London Zoo. This discounted ticket offer is only available to those on selected benefits where you can book tickets for up to 6 people per household. You must book in advance with this offer, (not available at the gate), and you will need to provide documentation on the gate. London Zoo also runs a scheme, for people living in Greater London, that provides discounted tickets to refugees, people with additional needs or disabilities and people over the age of 60 and may be at risk of isolation. 2. Whipsnade Zoo; Reduced Priced Universal Credit Tickets
Low income families can pick up tickets to Whipsnade Zoo from . This discounted ticket offer is available to those in receipt of any of the following; Universal Credit, Working Tax Credit, Child Tax Credit, Employment and Support Allowance, Income Support or Jobseeker’s Allowance. You must book in advance with this offer, (it is not available at the gate), where you will need to provide documentation on the gate and you can book tickets for up to 6 people per household.

3. Edinburgh Zoo Tickets from £7pp
Low income families can pick up reduced price tickets to Edinburgh Zoo from just £7pp. Eligible benefit recipients include Universal Credit, income-related Employment & Support Allowance or Job Seeker’s Allowance, Housing Benefit, Working Tax Credit, Child Tax Credit & Income Support. 1. Tower of London; Tickets from £1pp

1. RHS Gardens for £1 Entry
RHS Gardens offer some great membership offers but this £1 entry deal is a great boost for to low income households. Each of the 5 RHS gardens, (Bridgewater, Wisley, Harlow Carr, Hyde Hall & Rosemoor) all offer this £1 entry deal for those in receipt of select benefits. You can book up to 6 tickets with only one member of the party needing to be in receipt of benefits. You will need to present proof of benefits on arrival at the garden. This offer applies to standard garden entry only and is not valid on separately ticketed events such as RHS Glow. Tickets are limited so worth booking in advance at the RHS garden of your choice.
2. Kew Gardens; Tickets from £1pp
Kew Gardens, and its sister site at Wakehurst in Sussex, have introduced a reduced ticket offer for those in receipt of Universal Credit, Pension Credit or Employment & Support Allowance. Tickets are priced from just £1pp. You’ve the option of booking in advance or paying at the gate with this offer and visitors can also purchase up to 4 additional tickets for children, (4-15 years). IWM Duxford offers £3 tickets for those in receipt of Universal Credit, Pension Credit & other named benefits. Hi Beverley, unfortunately SEA LIFE London does not offer discounted tickets for those on Universal Credit but you can find more promotions within our Cheap Tickets For SEA LIFE London. Alternatively, you might be interested to learn that the Horniman Museum in London has an aquarium that offers discounted tickets to their aquarium for those on Universal Credit & other specified benefits. Currently visitors can purchase up to four £2 tickets for the aquarium with more information over at The Horniman Museum Aquarium & Universal Credit. Hi Lin, unfortunately this cheap ticket offer for London Zoo is only valid for those in receipt of Universal Credit, Working Tax Credit, Child Tax Credit, Employment and Support Allowance, Income Support or Jobseeker’s Allowance. London Zoo do offer a concessionary rate for those age 65+ that is worth considering plus London Zoo does work with a number of London local organisations to offer discounted tickets to those over 60 years that may be at risk of isolation. Hi Mr Lee, these universal credit tickets for London Zoo are available families receiving universal credit, (& other select benefits) for for up to 6 people per household but all tickets must be booked online in advance of your visit – only full price tickets are available for purchase at the gate. Children under 3 go free of charge and you don’t need to book this ticket but must be accompanied by an adult with a booked ticket, hope that helps, Liz
