2. Tower of London; Ceremony of the Keys

The traditional locking up of the Tower of London has taken place every night for the past 700 years and offers you entry into this popular attraction for just a small charge. You need to apply for tickets to be part of this tradition but offers you a great chance to see the Tower of London away from the crowds.

3. Tower of London; 2 for 1 Voucher

During select off peak times, you can pick up a 2 for 1 voucher for the Tower of London when you travel by train.  This offers 1 person free entry when accompanied by a full paying person when presented together with valid train tickets.  Only 2 people are allowed per voucher so ensure you can enough vouchers for your party.  Check if this voucher is running on the day of your visit.

4. Tower of London; Free Entry for Blue Peter Badgeholders

Valid Blue Peter badgeholders can pick up FREE entry to the Tower of London when accompanied by a full paying or concessionary adult. Badgeholders must be between the age of 6 & 15 years and present both the Blue Peter badge & badge card on the day of their visit.

You can pick up entry to the Tower of London for just £1pp for those living in Tower Hamlets. Whilst there are stipulations in place to prove residency, this is a fantastic deal for one of London’s top visitor attractions.

6. Tower of London; Armed Forces

Military personnel can pick up discounted ticket to the Tower of London.  For those with a valid MOD90 card, the Defence Discount card or the MOD Certificate of Eligibility, you can pick up a 30% discount off ticket prices.  Simply present your proof of eligibility on the day to gain your discounted entry but unfortunately cannot be pre-booked in advance.

  1. Hi, I am currently serving RAF and would like to visit the Tower in Feb 23 along with my Wife, Mother and 2 x children (both over 18yrs) are the children classed as adults and would the discount be applied to us all? (i.e. what would be the total cost?)

    • Hi Mark, The Tower of London offers a 30% military discount to holders of a valid MOD90 card, the Defence Discount card, or the MOD Certificate of Eligibility. Currently,(Dec) prices are as follows; MOD Adult: £21.00 / MOD Child: £10.50 / MOD Family 1: £36.70 / MOD Family 2: £57.70 A MOD family ticket will allow entrance for 1 military personnel, 1 additional adult and up to 3 children. A MOD family 1 ticket with allow entrance for 1 military personnel and up to 3 children without the additional adult. Discounted tickets can only be bought at the palace on the day of your visit. Simply show your proof of eligibility at the ticket office. Hope that helps, Liz

    I want to visit the Tower on Saturday 22nd Oct with my Family, (wife 2 daughters and 2 grandchildren)
    I do have the DDC will the card cover us all

    It would be a rather nice gesture if complementary tickets could be obtained by military veterans, ( rather than just 30% discount) with similar arrangements as offered by Windsor Castle and Buckingham Palace.
