Chessington World of Adventures; Early Access Ticket

Similar to Early Ride Time this queue-busting add-on allows you to enjoy early access to the park but without the need to stay in Resort hotel accommodation. Your Early Access Ticket is additional to your theme ticket or pre-booked annual pass ticket so you’ll need to consider the costs. Offering you entry to the park from 9am-10am, this ticket secures you an extra hour on selected rides & attractions. This allows you to get a number of popular rides under your belt before the parks opens its gates for the day.

Early Access Ticket; How It Works

You can purchase Early Access Tickets at the time of purchasing your theme park tickets. As you make your way through the transaction process, you’ll have the option to add Early Access Ticket(s). On the day, make your way to the Chessington Safari Hotel where you will be directed to the Early Rider Gate, (Azteca Gate) located toward the back of the hotel.

Early Access Ticket; How It Works

Staff at the gate will start processing guests through the park from 8.45am each day. The advantage with Early Ride Time is that you are already in situ at the park so an early start won’t be that problematic. With Early Access Tickets you need to consider your journey time, parking up and locating the correct entry point in time. The last thing you want to do is pay extra for the privilege of early access and then get caught out by logistics!

Once at the gate, you will need to show your Early Access Tickets alongside theme park entry for that day, (annual pass, theme park tickets). Each eligible guest will then be provided with a wristband before you head over for security bag checks. This has the potential to cause some delay so we suggest arriving at the Early Rider Gate from 8.30am to ensure you are at the front of this queue.

Early Access Tickets; Participating Rides

You will see a list of participating rides that are offering Early Access at the gate. It is worth taking note of which rides will be open early so you can plan your route accordingly. These will usually include a range of rides that work well for young families as well as those adrenaline fuelled adventurers. On our recent visit Early Access included the following;

• Chase’s Mountain Mission,
• Skye’s Helicopter Heroes
• Zumas’s Hovercraft Adventure
• Marshall’s Firetruck Rescue
• The Gruffalo River Ride Adventure
• Room On The Broom
• Mandrill Mayhem
• Ostrich Stampede
• Mamba Strike

Many of these rides were included within the new World of Paw Patrol that worked well for younger guests. Thrill seekers were able to head straight over to the World of Jamanji to get ahead of the queues on Mandrill Mayhem, Ostrich Stampede & Mamba Strike. We found we had plenty of time to get some of these popular attractions under our belt early in the day, even repeating a couple of our favourites. Rides are subject to availability where available rides will be confirmed during your visit.
