We’re always looking for ways to Beat The Queues at Chessington World of Adventures so this Early Ride perk is a great way to access select rides and attractions before the park opens to the public.  Not many people are aware that Early Ride Time grants you early entry into selected areas of the park and is a great method to get ahead of the queues.  Bypass the queues and get some popular rides under your belt before the park opens for the day but worth noting this free perk is limited to selected guests.  We recently tried out this queue busting perk so you can find out more details below & how you can make use of Early Ride Time during your next visit to the park.

Chessington Short Break; May Half Term, (from £94pp)

Extend your theme park visit with a Chessington short break this May half term from just £94pp. Packages include overnight accommodation, breakfast & 1-day theme park entry. Opt to stay at the Chessington Safari or Azteca Resort Hotels that includes Early Ride Time that secures you access to the park before it opens to the public – a great way to get some rides under your belt! Early Ride Time is only available with valid theme park entry.

Chessington World of Adventures; Early Ride Time

Early Ride Time offers you access to the park an hour before it opens to the public when you can access selected rides & attractions with minimal queues. This free perk is limited to those staying at either the Chessington Safari or Azteca Resort Hotel where your package includes theme park entry.  Known as Early Ride Time, here’s a chance to enjoy selected rides between 9am & 10am that offers you a FULL HOUR before the part opens to the public. This is a great way to access popular attractions before queues start to build for the day allowing you to focus your time more strategically during your visit.

Early Ride Time; How It Works

Hotel guests can make their way to the Early Rider Gate, (Azteca Gate) from 8.45am where staff will start processing you through. You will need to provide evidence of your overnight stay, (email or text confirmation will suffice) as well as theme park entry for that day, (annual pass, theme park tickets). Each eligible guest will then be provided with a wristband before you head over for security bag checks. This has the potential to cause some delay so we suggest arriving at the Early Rider Gate from 8.30am to ensure you are at the front of this queue.

Early Ride Time; Participating Rides

You will see a list of participating rides that are offering Early Ride Time either at the hotel reception or at the gate. It is worth taking note of which rides will be open early so you can plan your route accordingly. These will usually include a range of rides that work well for young families as well as those adrenaline fuelled adventurers. On our recent visit Early Ride Time included;

• Chase’s Mountain Mission,
• Skye’s Helicopter Heroes
• Zumas’s Hovercraft Adventure
• Marshall’s Firetruck Rescue
• The Gruffalo River Ride Adventure
• Room On The Broom
• Mandrill Mayhem
• Ostrich Stampede
• Mamba Strike

Many of these rides were included within the newly opened World of Paw Patrol that worked well for younger guests. Thrill seekers were able to head straight over to the World of Jamanji to get ahead of the queues on Mandrill Mayhem, Ostrich Stampede & Mamba Strike. We found we had plenty of time to get some of these popular attractions under our belt early in the day, even repeating a couple of our favourites. Rides are subject to availability where available rides will be confirmed during your visit.

Chessington World of Adventures; Resort Hotel & Early Ride Time

A great method to get ahead of the queues before the park opens for the day, Early Ride Time is included with your Resort hotel stay, (where your package includes theme park entry) alongside FREE parking!  Combined discounted packages include accommodation, theme park tickets & access to on-site leisure facilities plus look out for special promotions that vary throughout the year. To take advantage of this perk, simply head the the Azteca Gate and present your hotel booking confirmation to admissions staff on the day where wristbands will be handed out to eligible guests.

Chessington World of Adventures; Early Access Tickets

For those wanting to enjoy early access but without the need to stay over, look out for Early Access Tickets at Chessington World of Adventures. This is an additional charge for this option on top of your theme ticket or pre-booked annual pass ticket but does allow you to access the park from 9am-10am.  During this time, selected rides & attractions are available as part of the Early Access Ticket offering you a chance to get a number of rides under your belt before they open the gates for the day. As you make your way through the transaction process, you’ll have the option to add an Early Access Ticket where prices start from £20pp.
