Alton Towers have recently released more details of the NEW ride at Alton Towers; The Curse At Alton Manor.  Set to open in spring 2023, this new attraction replaces Duel that closed its door toward the end of last season and is bound to be popular with theme park visitors.  The Curse at Alton Manor is themed around a haunted doll’s house and will remain a creepy haunted house experience with a ‘backstory of the Manor’s sinister past’ packed with special effects and visuals to keep you entertained, (more details below).

NEW For Alton Towers; The Curse At Alton Manor

Themed around a haunted doll’s house, this experience revolves around the story of Emily Alton –  demonic child from Alton Towers – where high tech visuals will keep visitors on their toes around this new experience.  Using ‘twister projection mapping technology’ as well as special mirrors, you’ll be transported into Emily’s dollhouse and lines will be blurred between reality and Emily’s demonic world!  Whilst the full details have yet to emerge, what we do know is that guests will be taken on a ‘hair-raising journey through the spectacular twists and turns of the cursed manor’ with ‘new and unimaginable ways to scare and surprise fans.’

Aimed at hardy youngsters & adults, this family attraction is due to open on 18 March 2023 in time for the beginning of the theme park season.

This new attraction comes on top of Project Horizon where Alton Towers is set to get the green light from Staffordshire Moorlands District Council for a new coaster set to open in 2025.  More details can be found over at Alton Towers Project Horizon.
