Alton Towers Move To Children Under 90cm Gaining Free Entry

Alton Towers have made a significant change to their free entry offer for very young children that may have an impact for young families planning a visit to the park.  Previously children under 3 years of age could gain entry to this popular theme, but this year, Alton Towers have decided to move from a minimum age requirement to a height stipulation.  Going forward, only children under 90cms will go free of charge to the park with height markers in placed around the admission kiosks to ensure compliance.  Worth getting the measuring tape out at home to ensure any young children sit below the new height threshold before planning your next visit to this popular theme park in Staffordshire.

Alton Towers Move From Under 3’s Go Free To Those Under 90cm

We’re always searching for cheap tickets & 2 for 1 vouchers for Alton Towers so this change in policy for young children to the park is always going to be of interest to us.  For young families with children that exceed 90cm, they now need to purchase a standard ticket for the park for each member of their family that could have ramifications for family finances.  Alton Towers no longer offers reduced child admission tickets but rather have a standard entry charge per person so it’s worth considering whether this change of policy will impact your anticipated ticket entry costs. Worth noting that there is no reduced price entry for young families limiting their use of the park to CBeebies Land and/or other rides and attractions aimed at the younger family.

Whether you are searching for a 2 for 1 voucher or looking to take advantage of online promotion, we always suggest planning ahead to keep your costs down on theme park tickets.  This will be particularly apt for those who have suddenly found themselves with additional entry costs to consider.  Alton Towers have always offered a range of discounted ticket offers throughout the season so it’s worth doing your homework and finding the best promotion that suits your family’s needs.
