RHS Membership & Free Entry To 240+ Partner Gardens
There are a range of gardens included within this free entry promotions that are located both with the UK and further afield. Some of our favourite include;
- Ham House & Garden
- Belvoir Castle
- National Botanic Gardens of Wales
- Blenheim Palace, Park & Gardens
- Duncombe Park
- Blair Castle
- Sherbourne Castle
- Drummond Castle Gardens
Worth being aware that free entry to partner gardens is available to those with individual or life membership, (either individual or joint). Those with joint annual membership will gain free entry for the main member whilst the secondary member will still need to pay. Whilst there are discounts to be had on joint RHS membership, if you both plan to visit a number of partner gardens, you may wish to consider 2 individual membership rather than the joint option.
In addition to the free entry partner garden perk, RHS membership also comes with a free guest/children options. This complimentary guest offer is limited to RHS gardens and unfortunately does not apply at partner gardens. However, bearing in mind these limitations on this offer, it still remains a great opportunity to explore further afield with either no or limited outlay on admission charges.
Often this partner garden perk is limited to select off-peak times of the year so worth double checking with each attraction before planning your visit.

Questions and Comments

HI, I have just become an RHS member and have tried to book to visit Hyde Hall on 5th October 2025. However, I am struggling to book tickets on the RHS website without the request to pay for them. Help, please
Hi Jean, there is no booking required for RHS members when looking to visit to Hyde Hall, hope that helps, Liz
What are the names of any RHS partner gardens in Northumberland please. We are going on holiday near Alnmouth and would like to make full use of my RHS membership.
Thank you
Hi Elizabeth, if you take a look on the Find RHS Partner Garden Link and put Northumberland in the search box, it will list all the participating gardens. Always check the eligible dates & times for those you are interested in visiting. Worth noting that all individual RHS Members can visit RHS Partner Gardens for free but with joint RHS members, only the primary member can secure free entry and the second joint member will need to pay the garden’s entry free, hope that helps, Liz
Can I visit kew gardens in August with my RHS membership please
Hi, thanks for your query regarding partner gardens with RHS membership. Unfortunately Kew Gardens is not a partner garden and cannot be used with RHS membership. Syon Park, Ham House & Osterley Park are all nearby to Kew and are partner gardens although you would need to check with each attraction to see which months the free entry offer is running. If you are planning to visit Kew gardens in August, they do offer a discounted late entry charge from £11pp for entry after 4pm. There are also concessionary rates in place for students, young person, family, visitors with a disability, local residents, Wakehurst members and low income people on Universal Credit or Pension Credit. You can find more information regarding the latter over at Discounted Entry For Low Income Families. Hope that helps, Liz
iS IT POSSIBLE TO ACTUALLY SEE A LIST OF ALL THE PARTNERED GARDENS THAT i AM ABLE TO VISIT WITH MY RHS MEMBERSHIP.
I LIVE IN THE NEW FOREST IN HAMPSHIRE AND AM STRUGGLING TO SEE WHERE I CAN VISIT LOCALLY.
Hi Christine, You can find more details about the partner gardens over at RHS Membership & Partner Gardens. Simply add in your postcode and it will bring up partner gardens in your area. Worth checking through the details in the members benefits where it lays out dates & times open to RHS members as many do have some restrictions in place. Hope that helps, Liz
Sorry to say that I am canny phobic. I do not wish my outings to be ruined by dogs, their mess, their noise or their over enthusiastic greetings. I fully understand that there are responsible owners but please be aware the dogs are not always well trained and certainly not all people friendly. Dogs do not pay for admission; people do !
