English Heritage Life Membership

We’re always on the look out for English Heritage Membership Deals that help you make savings on your days out.  Whilst English Heritage Life Membership wouldn’t perhaps be the first thing to spring to your mind, it can be worth considering the benefits as long term it could make financial sense.  Life Membership offers free entry for you & an adult guest plus up to 6 children too, (more details below).

English Heritage Life Membership; Perks

1. The great advantage with type of membership is that, for your lifetime, you & an adult guest can gain free entry to English Heritage settings.  This free entry perk extends to up to six children, (under the age of 18 years), within your family that potentially offers savings for all the family.

2. Pick up complementary entry to sites within Historic Scotland, Cadw and OPW Heritage Ireland with Lifetime Membership too that’s a great bonus for those planning trips further afield.  Plus 10% off bookings to English Heritage Cottages.

3. Enjoy free entry to all English Heritage daytime events where you can bring along an adult guest or 2 children, (under 18 years).  Standard members rates on other events running too, (evening events, associated member events).

4. Members can pick up discounts on hundreds of associated attractions around the country and don’t forget FREE parking too!

English Heritage; Things To Consider

You are investing in a substantial sum of money up front  and, whilst I do not pretend have the skills of an actuary, it seems clear that value for money is dependent upon a number of variables.  Factors to consider include your age, how many years of good health you can reasonably bank on, how frequently you plan to visit English Heritage sites in the coming years, the relative price of an annual membership & your future personal circumstances.

Of course a number of these remain outside of your control and in the end, it all comes down to a combination of reasonable expectations and predicted future lifestyle choices.  You do need to consider that refunds, (part of whole), will not be issued to members unable to use their memberships at any stage of their subscription. One final thing for benefactors to consider is that English Heritage is unable to claim gift aid on Life Memberships due to the greater level of benefits over time.
