IFS Cloud Cable Cars

The IFS Cloud Cable Car; Tips & Tricks

1. Enjoy a one-way journey & combine with a trip on the Thames Clipper that allows you to explore the River Thames from differing perspectives. For the Thames Clipper, disembark at the North Greenwich Pier and take a short walk to the Greenwich Peninsula Terminal. If you stop off at Greenwich from the Clipper, be sure to visit the Greenwich Foot Tunnel that literally takes you under the River Thames!

2. Whilst you are away from the main tourist attractions, there are plenty of sights to look out for including City Hall, the O2 Arena, Canary Wharf and of course the River Thames.  There is no signage within the cars so best for those who know what to look out for or just sit back and enjoy the experience.

3. Good to know that the Greenwich Peninsular terminal is just a 5 minute walk from the O2 Arena making the cable cars an easy option for those plans in the area.

4. You’ve a great view over of the City Airport runway so you might be fortunate and be in prime position for any landings or departures!

5. If selecting a round trip starting from North Greenwich, you’ll note that many people simply stay within their carriage opting to return directly to base.
