Disneyland Paris & Picnics
November 4th, 2014Contrary to popular belief, you can take food into Disneyland Paris! Perhaps not large picnic hampers or cool bags, but certainly sandwiches & snacks without any problem at all. During our recent trip, we managed to take in a full picnic that helped us keep the costs down during the day.

Disneyland Paris; Top Tips For Picnics
1. Guest Storage Facilities
Whilst the lockers are no longer in operation, there are alternative Guest Storage Facilities that are available where you can store your picnics.
More details available at Disneyland Paris Guest Storage Facilities.
2. Water Fountains at Disneyland Paris
Another top tip for a budget visit to Disneyland Paris is to take your own water bottles into the park. There are plenty of water fountains around the parks, (often situated close to the toilet blocks), where you can top up your bottles for free.
3. Be Prepared to Spend!
As most people are spending a full day & evening at Disneyland, it can be quite a challenge to bring in food for both lunch & dinner. It may therefore more prudent to budget for at least one meal at the park during your visit to Disneyland.
4. Designated Picnic Area
If you opt to leave a cool bag in the car, then you can take advantage of the designated picnic area available to you. This is located close to the top of the moving walkway once you’ve left the customer parking area.
5. Ice Cream Treat at Disneyland Paris
Try Fantasia Gelati located in Fantasyland for an ice cream treat at Disneyland Paris. This is only one of a few places that offers fresh ice-cream, (scoops rather than packet), but watch out as queues build quickly here!
