Alton Towers; Early Ride Time
Early Ride Time is a great way to enjoy early entry into the park before it opens to the public and is limited to guests staying within Resort accommodation during selected dates when purchasing theme park tickets. An easy method to get ahead of the queues, exclusive Early Ride Time is available to guests for 60 minutes before the park opens to the public. Available on the second day of your stay, Early Ride Time at Alton Towers is available during peak times of the year including May half term & summer dates but is subject to availability.
Worth noting that Early Ride Time relates to Toxicator, Nemesis Reborn, Runaway Mine Train & CBeebies Land, (subject to availability). This allowed you a chance to enjoy popular attractions before the queues began to build for the day. Nemesis Reborn & Toxicator were popular draws at the theme park season last year so having these included within the Early Ride Time was a bonus. Both Toxicator & Nemesis Reborn can usually attract long wait times so it’s a great perk to get this under your belt early on during your visit.
Early Ride Time & Short Breaks
You can then move on to other areas of the park as the general public begins to trickle through for the start of the day. This nifty Early Ride Time perk is limited to guests staying at Resort accommodation during peak times so it limits the numbers able to access this perk.
Short breaks including overnight accommodation, breakfast, evening entertainment, FREE 9 hole round of Extraordinary Golf & FREE parking. To access Early Ride Time you will also need to be staying at Resort accommodation during peak dates and purchasing theme park tickets. Worth keeping an eye out too for second day free offers that run periodically that offers a second consecutive theme park day at no extra charge.

Questions and Comments

Hi i carnt find any information anywhere about the ride prices or even if there are prices for the rides i want to buy a day pass i understand this gives me access to the park but what about the kids land rides or any other rides do i pay?
Hi Stephanie, Alton Towers entrance includes access to all the rides and attractions at the park, (with the exception of some fairground like stalls) including children’s area such as CBeebies Land. You can purchase fastrack passes on top of your entrance tickets that provides quicker access to the popular rides but that is an optional extra. Unfortunately the park is not currently running early ride time, (this previously offered early access to select rides and attractions). Your entrance ticket are priced from £36pp if you book online in advance with Alton Towers rising to £65pp if you opt to pay on the day. There are plenty of 2 for 1 vouchers abound, (but watch out for excluded dates) that can offer savings too but remember this is against standard ticket prices not online ticket discounts. We at Topdogdays are independent of all visitor attractions and promotions, we simply let you know where the deals can be found. Looking for best price for 2 adults and a child
Hi Andrew, your query has come through on our Early Ride Time information so if you are looking for entry to Alton Towers that includes early access you will need to book tickets online with Alton Towers, (alternatively purchase a merlin pass/opt for a hotel package that includes theme park entry). The best ticket prices are available for those that can book 5+ days in advance so worth checking out ticket prices online, (prices change depending upon when you are looking to visit & advance booking notice you can give). A cheaper option can be making use of 2 for 1 vouchers but unfortunately you cannot take advantage of early ride time with any vouchers used.
