RHS Membership & Free Guest Perks

There are plenty of RHS Membership Deals & Benefits available for those looking to make their membership go further.  Alongside unlimited access to RHS gardens, (Wisley, Rosemoor, Hyde Hall, Harlow Carr & Bridgewater), not many people realise that membership also brings with it complimentary entry for family guest(s) and/or children. This can be a perk to stretch your membership further and offers you the chance to enjoy the gardens in the company of a close friend or relative, (more details below).

Individual annual membership offers complimentary entry to all 5 RHS gardens for either a family guest or 2 children. For couples this can be a cost effective method to keep the costs down by taking advantage of cheaper individual membership and taking the second person along as the guest.  Keep in mind that this option will always require the member to accompany the guest on each visit so might not always be best option for those looking for independent visits.

Joint membership offers both members entry to all 5 RHS gardens plus FREE entry for a family guest AND up to 4 children.  This option gives both parties more flexibility as you visit independently of each other plus allows for larger family/friend groups.

Families with children age between 5 & 16 years, can opt for either individual or joint depending upon the make up of your family. Individual membership offers 1 adult and up to 2 children free entry, (but not alongside the family guest perk), whereas joint membership allows entry to up to 4 children, (plus a family guest).

One other consideration is the free entry to partner gardens perk.  Those with individual or life membership, (either individual or joint), will gain complimentary to 200+ partner gardens.  However, those with joint annual membership, free entry is restricted to the main member & the secondary member will still need to pay entry charges.  

So all in all, it is worth considering how you intend to use your RSH membership over the year & weigh up whether the extra flexibility and additional guest options would be advantageous to you.
