London Open Gardens teams up with 10 Downing Street each year offering you the chance to visit these well known gardens. Always a popular option, tickets for the 10 Downing Street gardens are allocated at random via a ticket ballot. To be in with a chance of being selected, simply enter the ticket ballot & complete your details as prompted, (more details below).

London Open Gardens Tickets; 10 Downing Street Garden

The ballot is now open to apply for tickets to visit the gardens of 10 Downing Street taking place on 6 June 2026 at 11:30 & 1:30. Adults can apply for 1 or 2 spaces on the tour where they can be accompanied by a pre-chosen adult or child, (12 years+).  There are 24 available spaces on each tour where tour tickets are FREE of charge. Worth noting that you do not need to purchase a London Open Gardens tickets to enter the ballot. 

Simply enter the ballot before 11:30pm on 5 May 2026 to be in with a chance of securing tickets. Successful entrance will be chosen by 18 May where you will be required to provide photographic ID on the day of your visit.

London Open Gardens Weekend Tickets 

The gardens of 10 Downing Street is part of the wider London Open Gardens Weekend that is running on 6 & 7 June 2026. Here’s a chance chance to explore 120+ gardens and natural spaces around London, many of which are not normally open to the public. Included within the mix are private squares in central London that are usually only open to local residents, roof gardens, gardens belonging to historic buildings plus new & experimental settings. 

We’ve seen some great hidden gems within this programme including the Gloucester Square Residents’ Gardens, Barbican Wildlife Garden, Inner Temple Garden, 25 Cannon Street, Royal Crescent Gardens, Belgrave Square Garden, Hanover Gardens, Emery Walker’s House, Kensington Square & Lincoln’s Inn Gardens, The Charterhouse- Courtyard Gardens.

London Open Gardens Tickets

Adult weekend tickets for the London Open Gardens are now available from £26.15 an adult.  Tickets offer 2 days entry at participating venues, (excludes gardens requiring balloted entry or pre-bookable tours). Good to see that children under 12 years are FREE of charge, although they still require a ticket.  Worth noting that not all gardens are open over the full weekend and some gardens require pre-booking.  

A weekend tickets provides access to gardens on both days and a small number of gardens may require pre-booking nearer the time. Full details on any that need pre-booking will be available on Open Gardens Weekend website closer to the time.
