15 Seconds of Fame with the BBC, (now expired)
Here’s a chance to be in on the action by becoming an extra on one of the TV BBC shows! To celebrate 100 years of the BBC, here’s a competition offering lucky winners the opportunity to be an extra on your favourite TV show. Enter and be in with a chance to win one of the following opportunities, (roles subject to change):
- Ordering a drink in the New Vic on EastEnders
- Announcing ‘voting now open’ on Strictly
- Being an alien on Doctor Who
- Lying as a motionless patient on Casualty
- Making a sound effect on The Archers
- Doing a spot of gardening on Gardeners’ World
Billed as your ’15 seconds of fame’ for avid TV fans, this once in a lifetime opportunity gives you the chance to be in your favourite TV show. Simply enter the competition by clicking on one of the BBC show links and apply before registration closes at midnight on Friday 4th November 2022. You will need to log into a BBC account with entrants being 18 years or over. Up to 20 entrants will be selected for each programme and those selected will be invited to upload a short video following a programme-specific brief. The selection process for all programmes will be completed by 8 December 2022.
