Send me the deals!
could you send me a Twycross zoo book out in the post.
Hi Salli, we at Topdogdays are independent of Twycross Zoo and unfortunately do not have any literature to send out. It could be worth contacting Twycross directly or popping into their large visitor store.
What is the cost of a family ticket
Hi Caroline, interestingly it seems like Twycross Zoo does not offer a family rate but simply offers adult & child rates, (under 3’s go free). Might be worth applying for a Blue Peter badge if you have a child age between 6 & 15 years as valid badgeholders can pick up free entry when accompanied by a full paying adult.
WHY IS THERE NEVER ANY OFFERS TWO FOR ONE WHEN I AM LOOKING FOR THEM WOULD LOVE TO GO TO TWYCROSS BUT FEEL 32.00 FOR TWO PEOPLE IS OUT OF MY REACH.
Hi Amanda, why not try the summer sundowns that are running on select dates in August priced at just £5pp. This offers late entry into the zoo plus access to a range of music & events running during the evening. You can more details within our main Twycross Zoo article.
We would be interested to learn why the One Snow Leopard, commenced to pace up and down in quite a frenetic manner and for quite a long following a period of relaxation.Observed at 4:15pm on the 5th January, the sex being unknown ( the other Snow Leopard was located some distance away on the higher ground, quite active, but moving quite normally). Both animals were in the vision of each other.
Hi Andrew, Topdogdays is independent of Twycross Zoo as we simply let you know the deals & discounts available for visitor attractions around the UK. You would probably best contacting Twycross Zoo directly with your specific query, sorry I could not be of more help.
Are you aware the photo above – they are actually otters – NOT BEAVERS
Oops, of course you are quite right. Thanks for the nod, caption amended accordingly:)
Love twycross have visited many times never been disappointed I particularly absolutely adore the silver back great apes
Hi Tracey, by co-incidence we were at Twycross Zoo over the bank holiday weekend and had a great time too! I kept a look out for the silver back great apes and wasn’t disappointed particularly the little one playing with a ball:)
my husband and i would like to visit twycross zoo. we are in hucknall in nottingham . is there a bud service to get there at all ?
The only information I can see on the Twycross zoo website regarding buses is that there is a bus that goes from Ashby de la Zouch to Nuneaton that stops by Twycross Zoo. Whilst I don’t think this will be of much use to you in Hucknall, perhaps your best option is to contact your local bus service provider directly for further information.
Mrs Valeria gillott you can get a bus from derby bus station direct to twycross zoo. Or Nottingham bus station. I hope this helps you.
