Glasgow Science Centre
With hundreds of interactive exhibits for children & adults alike, the Glasgow Science Centre is one of our favourite Science Museums and offers a full family day out.
Parking; there is a small additional charge for parking, simply purchase your parking token at the ticket kiosk on arrival.
Picnic; plenty of room on the ground floor should you wish to pack a picnic for a full day out.
Cloakroom; located on the ground floor where you can store buggies, coats & bags for free.
Glasgow Science Centre; Look Out For..
1. Little Explorers
For those with younger children, you’ll want to check out the extensive area for children under the age of 7 years, packed with interactive activities, & away from the older kids. Within Little Explorers you will find a lovely water play area & interactive musical equipment area that goes down a treat with young families.
2. BodyWorks
Bodyworks is popular with children, (and adults), of all ages at the Glasgow Science Centre. With a range of interactive exhibits including testing your speed against the clock, viewing your own veins & using your brain to move a ball. Fun for all the family.
3. Scotland’s Largest IMAX Theatre
Whilst there is an additional charge for this, it does boast to be Scotland’s largest IMAX theatre. If you are not sure whether this is for you, you can delay your purchase & return to a separate ticket desk later on in your day.
