SEA LIFE Tickets with Beach Clean Ups

Look out for organised beach or canal cleans at selected SEA LIFE attractions to help improve your local area. We’ve seen this running at attractions such as SEA LIFE Great Yarmouth or SEA LIFE Scarborough where guests are rewarded for their efforts.  We’ve also seen Canal Cleans at SEA LIFE Manchester too so worth keeping in touch with your local aquarium to see if they have any events coming up.

Crich Tramway; FREE Entry for Old Car Owners

This FREE entry offer to Crich Tramway that remains one of our favourite deals for those that own a pre-1980 car. Simply park it on the museum street for a minimum of 3 hours to enjoy free entry.  Complimentary entry offer is limited to the driver with any passengers still required to pay standard charges. Purchase your tickets directly from Westminster Abbey and you can take advantage of 2 FREE return visits.  This little known perk has to be requested on the day as it is not automatically applied to eligible tickets.  Simply ask staff at the ticket desk to upgrade your ticket to an annual pass that will allow you to return on two further occasions over the next 12 months. You do not need to pre-book subsequent visits but just present your annual pass & ID to gain entry.  This offer excludes promotional tickets, (including Highlights & Lates), & tickets purchased via third parties.

Leeds Castle; Green Travel Offer, (save 20%)

Car-free visitors to Leeds Castle can enjoy a 20% discount off admission prices in this Green Travel offer.  For those arriving by train, bus or bike, simply make your way to the visitor centre on the day and present your car free evidence, (train/bus tickets, those with free bus passes must request a receipt for the journey or be able to demonstrate the location of your bike). Visitors travelling by train must show a valid train ticket to Hollingbourne, Bearsted, Maidstone or Ashford train stations. Visitors travelling by bus must show a valid ticket for the 10X route.

Running in September each year, over 200 of Wales’ historic sites, landmarks & hidden gems open their doors free of charge. With an array of events, guided tours and free entry offers, there are plenty of participating attractions taking part in Open Doors Wales.

Eden Project; FREE Entry for RHS Members

RHS members can now pick up FREE entry to the Eden Project during selected times of the year.  Deemed as a partner garden for those with membership, you can secure complimentary entry during the following days; January – February, (excluding 14-22 February), May-June, (excluding 23-31 May), October – November, (excluding 24 October – 1 November).

Purchase your ticket directly from Twycross Zoo and you can take advantage of their ‘pay for a day and visit a year’ promotion.  This ticket option offers you FREE return visits through the year.  For double deals, book online at least a day in advance and you can currently secure a further 10% off standard tickets prices. Once you’ve made your purchase, simply create a profile in the portal and upload a photograph before your visit. You’ll need to pre-book your return visits at least a day in advance through the portal & show your annual ticket at the admissions kiosk.

FREE Tickets to the New Vic Theatre, (under 26’s)

The New Vic theatre in Staffordshire offers 50 FREE tickets for  most productions for those age 16-26 years.  Tickets are allocated on a first-come-first-served basis with tickets available Monday – Friday.  Two tickets per booking are available & limited to one pair of free tickets per season.  More details available at The New Vic; Under 26’s Go Free.

Knowsley Safari Park; Rainy Day Promise

Here’s a great way to hedge your bets against the great British weather with this Rainy Day Promise from Knowsley Safari Park.  This Rainy Day Promise comes into operation if continuous heavy rain persists for more than 90 minutes between 11am & 3pm where you can claim a FREE return visit. Tickets for the original visit must have been purchased online in advance and you’ll need to present the original ticket & valid photographic ID on the day of your return visit. Return visits must take place within 3 months of the affected day, (t&c’s apply). Birmingham Thinktank; Free Entry for Students

Students across the city can secure FREE entry to Birmingham Thinktank during selected days during the week.  Running Wednesday to Friday throughout the year, simply present valid student photo ID at the admission gates on the day.  Free admission is via walk-up on the day and is subject to availability. Not many people are aware that National Trust members can enjoy FREE entry to similar heritage settings around the world.  This reciprocal arrangement is in place for settings far and wide including Scotland, Jersey, Australia & Italy and offers members great savings further afield and can link in nicely with travel abroad.

Warwick Castle; English Heritage Discounts

Whilst Warwick Castle does not come under the umbrella of English Heritage, it is deemed an ‘Associated Attraction’ that offers discounts off ticket prices.  English Heritage members can pick up reduced price tickets to Warwick Castle on pre-booked entry when using a stipulated promo code.  Promotions vary so worth checking out what is running on the date of your visit.
