2. If you are planning to walk one way; pick up the bridge Brooklyn side & walk towards Manhattan.  The views of the famous Manhattan skyline are simply spectacular.

3. Vehicles are routed off underneath the dedicated cycle & pedestrian lanes on the Brooklyn Bridge so not only is it safe but it’s free of charge too.

4. Why not combine a walk on the Brooklyn Bridge with a trip to Grimaldi’s Pizzeria; New York’s most famous pizza restaurant & located just under the Brooklyn Bridge, (Brooklyn side).  If you have a New York City Explorer Pass then you can also pick up free entry to attractions such as Brooklyn’s Street Art Tour, Brooklyn Botanic Garden & Brooklyn Museum too.

5. Whatever you do, don’t sway over into the cycle path as you take in the view as the locals are not renowned for their patience!
