Merlin Entertainments have moved towards a system of minimum number of allocated tickets depending upon the day of the season.  Dates for each Merlin Attraction have been split into 4 categories; OFF PEAK, SUPER OFF PEAK, PEAK & SUPER PEAK and a minimum allocation of tickets have been made available. Ticket allocations range from unlimited availability during super off-peak & off-peak times to just 40 tickets for Alton Towers & Chessington World of Adventures, (super off-peak) or 30 tickets at Warwick Castle, (super off-peak).
