This 2 for 1 promotion run by National Rail offers discounted entry on a range of popular visitor attractions for those that travel by train. However the number of actual tickets available each day, particularly during busy times of the year, can be limited so worth taking account of this before making plans, (more details below).

National Rail 2 for 1 Promotion & Merlin Attractions

Many of the UK Merlin Attractions are included within this offer such as The London Eye, Alton Towers, SEA LIFE, Thorpe Park, LEGOLAND Windsor, Chessington World of Adventures, LEGOLAND Discovery Centre, Madame Tussauds & more.  There are still some excluded dates in place for certain attractions including SEA LIFE attractions, (excluding SEA LIFE London), Madame Tussauds, The Dungeons and Shrek Adventures! London. Excluded dates include 1- 7 May, 27 July – 27 August, 23 – 31 October & 25 December 2023.  Furthermore with this National Rail 2 for 1 promotion, Merlin Attractions have allocated a minimum number of tickets depending upon whether your visit sits within peak, super peak, off peak or super off peak dates. The range of tickets available spans from unlimited availability to just 6 tickets per day depending upon the time of year you are planning to visit. We have listed below the 2023 ticket availability for select attractions as follows;

As now need to pre-book your tickets in advance with this offer, you’ll be able to check if your selected attraction has any tickets available for your proposed date of visit.  If you have any flexibility on when you visit, then play around with your proposed date to see if this opens up availability.

It is worth noting that this is a minimum allocation and Merlin Entertainments may make additional tickets available for select attractions so worth checking back later if your preferred attraction & date combination is not available when you first try to book.
