Manchester MOSI

Museum of Science & Industry; Top Dog’s Selection

1. Add Your Image

Why not upload your image onto the substantial digital sculpture located within the main entrance area.  Children, (and adults) will love this one!

As you arrive, head straight to media stations to pose and then watch your image move along the impressive media walls around the museum.

A winner every time.

2. My Den in the Textiles Gallery

Younger visitors will enjoy creating their own space with a range of textiles including cushions, fabrics, rugs & beanbags. This pop up play space is a hidden gem for little ones.

To ensure this is available on the day of your visit, contact the MOSI on 0161 833 0027.

3. Experiment!

Check out the recently revamped Experiment! gallery on the first floor packed with interactive exhibits that will appeal to children of all ages.

Lift a Mini, test your reaction times, disturb a tornado, make some bubbles, name that tune plus many more innovative experiments…your greatest challenge could be persuading the children out of this area!

4. 4D Theatre

Families will enjoy this 4D theatre complete with moving seats & a range of special 4D effects including water spray!  Dubbed for children age 4 years & above, (parent’s discretion), there is an additional charge for this attraction.

The 4D theatre is located in the far end of the museum, (within the Station Building), so easily avoided should you prefer to give it a skip.
