Strictly 2023 Series; If You’ve Been Successful
So if you’ve been lucky enough to be allocated tickets, here’s a few pointers to help you gain entry on the day.
In previous years, the BBC over-issued Strictly tickets so that having a ticket did not guarantee you entry meaning a very early start to the day. This year, the BBC has had a re-think recognising that often people had come a long way for the chance to join the audience only to be turned away at the door if they had reached capacity. This year, anyone who is successful in the random draw, will be GUARANTEED ADMISSION so that makes the run-up to the show a lot less stressful. They are also stressing that there’s no need to arrive too far in advance as seats will be allocated at random so queuing early will not secure you a spot at the front!
Remember that tickets are strictly non-transferable for this hugely popular tv show. If you’re lucky enough to be selected, the named ticket holder must be there and the name printed on your tickets must match the name on your approved ID that will need to shown on the door.
Strictly Series 2023 Tickets
The ballot has now closed for the Strictly Series 2023
Ever wanted to be in the audience of the popular TV BBC series Strictly Come Dancing? With the 2023 Strictly series soon to kick off, you can now apply for FREE tickets to be in the audience for shows taking place between 23 September and 16 December 2023. Simply enter the BBC Strictly Series 2023 ballot to be in with a chance to be selected for tickets for the live shows.
The Strictly 2023 Series dates will take place from Saturday 23 September through to Saturday 16 December 2023 with tickets for these popular live shows allocated via a random ballot selection. Registration is now open until 10pm on 5 September 2023 where you can apply for one pair of tickets for the show. The great news this year is, that anyone who is successful in the random draw, will be guaranteed admission so there’s no need to arrive too far in advance to secure a spot. Seats will be allocated at random so queuing early will not secure you a spot at the front, (more details below).

Strictly Series 2023 Free Tickets
The ballot is now open to apply for Strictly tickets with dates available between September & December 2023. You can apply for a maximum of one pair of tickets per show per show. The good news is you can apply for as many dates as you wish but, if you are successful in the random draw you will only receive tickets for one date. Please note that if applied & were successful in receiving tickets for the Professional Dancers Pre-Record or the pre-recorded Launch Show, you are still eligible to receive tickets in the random draw for the main series live shows.
As ever, you must be 14 years or over to take advantage of this free ticket offer and under 18’s must be accompanied by an adult. If you are lucky enough to be selected, the named ticket holder must be there and tickets are not transferrable, (the name printed on your tickets must match the name on your approved ID that will need to shown on the door).
The ballot closes at 10pm on 5 September 2023 where you can apply over at BBC Strictly 2023 Ticket Ballot.

I know it’s a very long shot, but looking for two free tickets for this Saturday 4th November, l was diagnosed with bowel cancer in Feb, had chemo and radiotherapy, got operation on the 7th to remove some of my bowel and my cancer, l had to cancel alot of shows(love going to the theatre) and would really love to see the show, as l will be out of action for a while, so if there are two spare tickets, then l would live them . Hi Anne, unfortunately Strictly tickets cannot be transferred to another as it states within the terms and conditions ‘Only apply if you are intending to be the named ticket holder. Once tickets are dispatched the name on the ticket cannot be changed and must match the approved ID on the day.’

My brother sadly passed away through covid. Him myself and my mum are massive strictly fans. It would mean the world to take my mum to the live show in Blackpool. We were there last Friday holding a memorial outside the tower for my late brother and went into the tower for a little balloon dance. Please can I be considered.

I thought I applied for 3 tickets for the Blackpool show for my mum who is 97 years old and my sister and I as her support as her mobility is limited. I have just realised that I omitted to send it. My mum is a huge fan of the show having watched every episode from the very beginning. I just wondered is there any opportunity for her to be able to attend her much lived show in Blackpool as for her just like the dancers it is one of the shows highlights.
I understand it is much in demand and you must have a cut off date but I just thought I would contact you as it would mean so much to my mum.

I would like 2 tickets for the 2017 shows starting in September 2017. When will the ballot be as I would not like to miss the opportunity of being included?

I do not really wish to be in the ballot for the opening show but would like to be included for shows in October. When will the applications for this Month be balloted?

Hi, unfortunately the ballot for the launch show has now closed but keep checking back for the ballot to be in the audience for the 2017 Strictly series. This usually goes live during the second part of August each year.
I will reach my 70th Birthday in 2017 and it would be a dream come true for me to secure 2 tickets for the live Blackpool Strictly Come Dancing show. Should my application be successful my daughter Arlene will travel from Ireland to attend this wonderful event with me. Trusting you will consider my application.
Hi Frances, unfortunately there is a ballot application process in place for Strictly tickets. Whilst this has now closed for the 2016 Strictly series, we’ll be updating this post with more details as the ballot goes live for 2017, (usually during the summer months).
i have never missed strickly i find it so tallented to learn what they acheive in just one week and would love to see it live

Hi Mandy, unfortunately the ballot for Strictly tickets has now closed for 2015 but worth looking out around September time next year to enter the 2016 Strictly ballot.
It’s my 50th Birthday on Friday 2nd October and I’d love to have a seat so I could see strictly come dancing live this year. It would be a dream come true and set me up for my twilight years and if you could spare two tickets I would take my cousin who is a ballroom fanatic suffering from M E.

Please put myself and my son forward for two tickets. My son is a trained ballroom and latin dancer he is currently an ents manager at pontins. He currently teaches ballroom and latin every day and entertains a packed venue with his strictly musical show. If would be a real treat for him to have a night off and enjoy this fantastic show.

Best programme on television nothing better in the dark and cold nights than watching the dancing with friends never miss it makes the weekend and would love to watch them live it would be a fantastic night
