National Open Gardens Day 2015
National Open Gardens Day is a new venture from Royal Horticultural Society, (RHS) that will offer the public the chance to visit a range of gardens for FREE! Venues will tend to be those that normally charge entry or are generally closed to the public but will open their doors for free for 1 day only.
The National Open Gardens Day will an opportunity to celebrate the diversity & range of gardens found in the UK & is set to take place on 17 April 2015.
What Gardens Will Be Opening On National Open Gardens Day?
To kick-start the campaign, the RHS will opening all 4 of their gardens for FREE on 17 April plus selected RHS partner gardens including;
- RHS Wisley Garden, (Surrey)
- St Andrews Botanic Gardens, (St Andrews)
- RHS Hyde Hall, (Essex)
- The Roof Gardens, (Kensington)
- Glendoick Gardens, (Perth)
- RHS Rosemoor, (North Devon)
- RHS Harlow Carr, (N Yorkshire)

Hi Yoko, yes it is a great offer and this is the first year that this is running so it will be good to see how it goes & hopefully will run again in subsequent years. Always worth heading off early with any free entry offer as they can be very popular. Enjoy.
