Snowdome, (Off Peak Discounts)

It’s well worth signing up to the Snowdome’s mailing list as, off season, there are some great deals and vouchers to be had. Often these discounts run at off peak times during the year and offer great discounted tickets.

Thrill Hopper Tickets, (not currently running)

Consider a Thrill Hopper ticket that offers you one admission to all four of the following; Drayton Manor, Alton Towers, Water World & Tamworth Snowdome, (limited to specific activities). This is a substantial saving against the cost of four separate entries with Thrill Hopper tickets priced at £60pp or £170 for a family of 4!  This ticket works well for those looking for a short break or alternatively for those looking to space out their trips during the season.

Snowdome, (Tips & Tricks)

Using the slope unaided: you need to at an adequate level for skiing/snow boarding before you are let lose. Coaching is available to allow the inexperienced to reach the required recreational standard. Discount vouchers on coaching are generally available out of season.

Wrap up warm: whatever the weather outside, be sure to wrap up warm for the activities including hat and gloves as the temperatures range from 0 to 3 degree centigrade.

Pre book your activities: this is strongly recommended as the SnowDome runs on a timetable of activities that can also get booked up at busy times. Once you have booked your activity, it’s important to arrive in plenty of time kit yourself out beforehand.

Take a Picnic: and make use of the fantastic park located in Tamworth castle grounds only a short walk across the pedestrian bridge. With an extensive playground, tennis courts and a miniature golf course, you can wile away some hours in here and enjoy lunch on the cheap. There are (20p), non-refundable lockers at the SnowDome.

Take-away Snow; if you want to guarantee yourself some snow, did you know that the SnowDome provides  a take-away service? Snow-to-go can be purchased by the tonne for around £500 but please note that collection must be organised by the customer!
