6. Navigation; the great advantage of this setting is you can make your way around the setting as many times as you wish. Time a second trip around to watch the otters being fed or enjoy the 4D cinema more than once, (check if this is currently available).

7. Plan Ahead; look ahead and plan in a couple of Feeding Times & Talks that are running during the day for added value.

8. Toddler Tickets; look out for SEA LIFE Birmingham Toddler Tickets that offer discounted entry for 1 adult & child under 5 years that are available during select times of the year, (under 3’s go free).

9. Drinks; worth remembering a few bottles of water for the children as it can get quite warm as you make your way around the setting.

10. Feeding Experiences; enhance your visit with a VIP Feeding Experiences that includes the penguin, turtle & shark areas for those that would like to get up close & personal!

11. Parking; parking can be found at the National Indoor Arena next door but it’s not a cheap option.

Birmingham Sea Life Centre; The Best Bits

An Interactive Rockpool; complete with crabs, star fish & sea squirts for you to handle. Informative staff on hand to help you get the most from this experience although bless the little lad standing next to me that asked if they had a crocodile! (check if this is currently available).

4D Cinema; a great 4D cinema included within your ticket price that offers plenty of special effects along the way. With plenty of bangs and startling effects, it’s not going to be for everyone but you can always make a quick exit.

Feeding Times; a range of activities planned throughout the day including feeding the otters, rays & sharks, (you watch, staff feed).
