Thorpe Park Fright Nights; your queries answered
September 18th, 2023Thorpe Park Fright Nights have now finished for this year but we’ll bring you more details as they come in for 2024.
1. Thorpe Park Fright Night Entry Tickets, (2023)
We’re always interested in Cheap Tickets To Thorpe Park so great to see the popular Fright Nights are back again for 2023. Running on 6-8 & 13-31 October, you can save when you book in advance with tickets available from £39pp that guarantees entry to the park, (scare mazes are in addition to your entry ticket). Online tickets also come with a nifty Island Return Guarantee that allows you a FREE return visit should the weather hamper your visit, (t&c’s apply).
If you want to combine theme park entry and access to the 3 Scare Mazes, look out for Fright Night Entry + Scare Mazes Tickets that are available from £63pp.
2. Fright Nights 2023; Valid 2 for 1 Vouchers
There are plenty of valid 2 for 1 vouchers available for use at Thorpe Park but there are limits of ticket allocations that are worth taking note of. Do remember also that vouchers should be redeemed in advance to ensure eligibility;
Kellogg’s 2 for 1 Voucher; 7, 13, 15, 20 & 31 October are deemed Peak with a minimum allocation of 380 promotional tickets available each day. 21-29 October are deemed Super Peak with a minimum allocation of 140 promotional tickets available each day.

YAZOO 2 for 1 Voucher; 6, 13, 16-20, 30 & 31 October are deemed Peak with a minimum allocation of 200 promotional tickets available each day. 7, 8,14-15, 21-29 October 2023 are deemed Super Peak with a minimum allocation of just 100 promotional tickets each day.
Cadbury Big Ticket Savings; 7, 13, 15, 20 & 31 October 2023 are deemed Peak with a minimum allocation of 70 promotional tickets available each day. 14, 21-29 October are deemed Super Peak with a minimum allocation of just 30 promotional tickets each day.
3. Thorpe Park Fright Night Tickets; Clubcard Vouchers
Clubcard vouchers can be redeemed for partner rewards during Thorpe Park Fright Nights. It is worth noting that there is limited availability when booking with a partner code between 14 – 15 & 21-31 October 2023 so early booking is recommended. The good news with this offer is you can top up with any payment method should you be a little short of vouchers.
4. Thorpe Park Fright Night; 2023 Dates
Thorpe Park Fright Nights are running on the following dates; 6-8 October, 13 – 31 October 2023. The rides & attractions open from 10am, (mazes open mid-afternoon), for a full day of thrills packed with horror mazes & a chance to enjoy select rides in the dark up to 9pm.
5. Fright Night Tickets from £39pp, (save up to £25pp)
Guarantee entry when you book online in advance with Thorpe Park Fright Night tickets available from just £39pp. Tickets secure you access to the park and rides during the day and night. You can add access to the 3 scare mazes to your ticket where you can opt for an afternoon package, (3-6pm) or an evening package, (6-9pm).
TO BOOK GO TO Thorpe Park Entry Tickets from £39pp + Scare Mazes from £24pp.
5. Thorpe Park Fright Nights; Passholders
All existing passholder must pre-book their admission and present both their tickets and valid Pass at the turnstiles. Thorpe Park states that there is an additional & separate allocation of passholder tickets from their standard online tickets but remember that access to the scare mazes is in addition to your entry tickets. Worth taking account of passholder excluded dates as follows;
Discovery Pass; NOT valid on any of the following dates; 6-8, 13-29 & 31 October 2023.
Silver Pass; NOT valid on any of the following dates; 7, 14, 21, 23-29 & 31 October 2023.
Gold Pass; NOT valid on any of the following dates; 28, 29 & 31 October 2023.
Platinum Pass; no exclusions on use.
Passholders now need to pay an uplift to access the mazes and ALL Passholders must pre-book their admission for Fright Night and present both their tickets and their valid Pass at the turnstiles. Worth noting that all passholders can pick up a 20% discount off the afternoon Terrifying Trio package which includes single access to all three scare mazes between 3pm & 6pm, (subject to availability). Alternatively opt for an evening ticket package but unfortunately no discount with this choice.
7. Merlin Annual Pass Restriction Ticket
For passholders with restrictions on dates, you can now upgrade to a Merlin Annual Pass Restriction Ticket from just £20pp per day. This ticket secures you standard entry to the park, (scare mazes are in addition) and is valid for one visit to Thorpe Park subject to availability.
TO BOOK GO TO Thorpe Park Merlin Annual Pass Restriction Ticket.
8. Fright Nights At Thorpe Park; Additional Costs
Thorpe Park Fright Night tickets include access to Thorpe Park rides during the day & night, shows and the spine-chilling scare zones. There are additional charges in place for both the horror mazes & fastrack tickets for those looking to bypass the queues. Entry to the horror mazes are all additional to your theme park entry charges & timed ticket entry for the horror mazes will still require you to queue for each attraction.
9. Fright Night Parking Costs
Parking charges apply at Thorpe Park during the Fright Night season from £9 per vehicle on the day, £8 when you book online.
10. Thorpe Park Fright Nights; Suitable For Children?
Thorpe Park recommends that these horror attractions are not suitable for children under 13 years. These are interactive horror attractions and particularly alarming for those with a nervous disposition. If you don’t like scares, darkened rooms or enclosed spaces then this isn’t for you!
11. Fright Night Fastrack Tickets
In previous years, for those looking to bypass the queues, you can take advantage of fastrack tickets for Fright Nights. We’ve seen a range of fastrack & VIP options available to theme park guests but remember your Thorpe Park tickets are in additional to these costs. Interestingly in previous years we also found Maze One Shots available at the park for around £5pp.
Questions and Comments
Do the mates go free tickets include the mazes? Just tried to book and i’m not sure it looks like they do?
Hi Bob, are you referring to the Kellogg’s promotional adults go free vouchers? They offer you entry to Thorpe Park and access to the rides but there are additional charges in place for access to the horror mazes. Take note of limits on ticket allocations for each promotion/dates so worth booking early to ensure availability, Liz
Hi, I’m just purchasing the Student Beans student Fright Nights Ticket … does this include the mazes?
Hi Tash, I’m not privy to the terms and conditions of the student offer for Fright Nights at Thorpe Park. In general terms, maze tickets are in addition to your theme park ticket so best to check the full t&c’s before you purchase, Liz
Hello, my friend and I are playing on coming for Fright Night on the 23. I’ve recently purchased a Cadbury packet with a free ticket on. Am I able to use this for Fright Night on this date as I can’t find it on the list above?
Hi Beth any, unfortunately the Cadbury 2 for 1 vouchers expired 31 July 2021 so not valid for Fright Nights at Thorpe Park, Liz
Hello there my son is a merlin gold passholder and wants to go with friends to fright night on the 28th October. I have just looked online – do i book him a Merlin Gold Pass Prebook
for an Individual? Will this cover him to stay for fright night too?
Many thanks
Hi Lorraine, your Merlin Gold Pass is valid on 28th October 2021 so you are correct in thinking you can simply book him a Merlin Gold Pass Prebook. This will gain him entry to Thorpe Park Fright Night although there are additional charges in place for the scare mazes, Liz
Hello,
I am looking to go Fright Night on the 22nd October. Can the vouchers be applied for this date?
Regards,
Jordan
Hi Jordan, it depends which 2 for 1 voucher you are looking to use for Fright Nights at Thorpe Park. The Yazoo 2 for 1’s and The Pizza Company 2 for 1 vouchers do not include Fright Nights at Thorpe Park. The Kellogg’s 2 for 1 voucher and the Cadbury 2 for 1 vouchers are valid on 22 October, (but does exclude many of the other Fright Night dates). For any other 2 for 1 voucher, best to check the full terms and conditions to look for any excluded dates that run over Fright Nights. Seemingly Thorpe Park only has a limited number of 2 for 1 voucher tickets available for each valid date at the park, so you would be best redeeming in advance to ensure entry as these dates are very popular at the park.
I am looking to go to fright night on Weds 20th October, which seems to be a date that on this website is okay to use the Cadbury’s 2 for 1 ticket. How do I purchase the 2 for 1 ticket as a fright night ticket? Or do I just buy a normal ticket and it automatically works as a fright night one? If that makes sense.
Hi Alanah, there are seemingly only a limited number of 2 for 1 voucher promotional tickets available on any valid date at Thorpe Park so best booking in advance as all Fright Night dates at Thorpe Park will be popular. If you book online at Thorpe Park, select day ticket and then choose the date of your visit. You will then see a tab titled ‘promotional code’ and this is where you will input your unique code from your 2 for 1 voucher, hope that helps, Liz
Okay thank you. So the 20th October is a date that is valid for the 2 for 1 Cadbury’s ticket and as a fright night ticket? I just get worried as when I put the promotional code in it doesn’t say anything about fright night on the booking site & I’m not sure if I will only pay for a normal day ticket instead of the fright night one… unless it doesn’t matter. Thanks anyway though.
Hi Alanah, yes the Cadbury 2 for 1 voucher is valid on 20 October at Thorpe Park as long as they have voucher tickets still available. This ticket will gain you access to the theme park and fright night although there are additional charges in place for the scare mazes, Liz
What fast track packages are available for fright night and how do you purchase them.
Hi Katie, it looks like you can only currently purchase an Adrenaline Fastrack online for Fright Night dates at Thorpe Park. This offers you the opportunity to get 5 fastracks, (1 entry on each) that you can mix and match on Thorpe Park coasters including The Swarm, Saw-The Ride, Nemesis Inferno, Stealth, The Walking Dead: The Ride. This fastrack is valid for five uses on any of the coasters listed above. Maze tickets are currently unavailable but often there are fastrack options available on the mazes so worth keeping an eye out once maze tickets have been released.
Can you use Tesco club card points for Friday fright nights?
Hi, yes you can use Tesco clubcard vouchers on select Fright Night dates at Thorpe Park but you will need to book this offer in advance via the Tesco clubcard website that comes complete with a live calendar availability option. Tickets are likely to be limited so I would suggest booking this offer quickly, Liz
Hi can you get 1 ticket 2 day passes for fright nights? I’m.coming on Friday 4th and won’t get a full day in the park only a few hours then full day Saturday just trying to work out best way of saving money on tickets with not getting 2 full days. Thanks
In previous years you could upgrade to a 2 day ticket once you were inside the park but unfortunately I don’t think this is available this year. On the Thorpe Park site itself they say there are no longer 2 day tickets available. If you stay overnight at the Thorpe Shark hotel, your package includes 2 days at the park but of course this bumps up the cost of your trip.
I have got two for one vouchers from the cinema for Thorpe park can I use these on fright night please.
Hi Bonny, worth checking the full terms & conditions for this 2 for 1 voucher for Thorpe Park as often there are excluded dates over Fright Nights.
Do I need to pre book for day time entry to Thorpe park during fright night? We are premium pass holders wanting to bring a guest too.
Hi Jen, yes it would definitely be a good idea. In the past few years Thorpe Park has reached capacity during the latter dates of Fright Night and close the gates to all those that don’t have pre-booked tickets. Premium passholders can reserve a space for just £1pp and worth booking a £1 space for your guest too and then present your share the fun voucher on the day. If it asks for the pass number simply input the your pass number as these are your guests.
I have just called Thrope park and they confirmed – we cant use Share the fun -voucher this weekend it was valid until 19th October
Can I use the share the fun voucher on the 31st October.
Hi Emma, whilst we are independent of Thorpe Park, we understand that they are advising visitors to pre book your premium annual passes place as well as your friends tickets online. You can do this by pre booking additional premium passes. If it asks for the pass number simply input the your pass number as these are your guests. You can then pay the fee on the day when showing the share the fun voucher to the staff at admissions.
Hi I am accompanying a college trip and need to bring my 8 year old. If you avoid the main mazes would you say that this would be then age appropriate?
Hi Sarah, Thorpe Park are advising that the horror attractions are unsuitable for those under 13 years. There will be plenty of visitors dressed throughout the park up as well as costumed staff members roaming the park that could be frightening for young children.
It states fright night is not recommended for under 13s, I assume this is just a recommendation not a rule? (My daughter was challenged last year). If she is going to arrive in the morning and stay till the evening, (She has a premium pass) does she still need to pay the £1 booking fee?
Hi Chrissie, worth noting that regardless of Fright Nights, Thorpe Park’s resort regulations state “No child or children under the age of 12 will be admitted to the Attraction unless they are accompanied by an adult aged 18 years or over and such child or children whilst on site must remain under the control or supervision of an adult at all time.” Fright Nights at Thorpe Park are not recommended for anyone under the age of 13 years.
I am planning to go to fright night on Sunday 15th October but I have work that day until 5 so if i bought a tesco voucher day pass can I still use it if I am entering the park after 6pm?
Hi Sam, my understanding is that tesco clubcard rewards are valid at Thorpe Park during Fright Nights but will not guarantee you entry to the park if it reaches capacity on the day of your visit.
Hi, i’m using the kellogs grown-ups go free voucher, does that include fright night attractions?
Hi Lysette, the Kelloggs 2 for 1 vouchers can be used for the earlier Fright Night dates although they are NOT valid at Thorpe Park from 20-31 October 2017.
Can I use my club card points and purchase tickets for fright night on any of he up and coming Saturdays?
Also I will just be accompanying my teenage kids, and entering but not riding or going into any attractions so will I be safe in the park or is there actors scaring around the park?
Hi Kelly, my understanding is that tesco clubcard rewards are valid at Thorpe Park during Fright Nights but will not guarantee you entry to the park if it reaches capacity on the day of your visit. You will need to redeem your vouchers for a clubcard voucher code prior to your visit to Thorpe Park. Much of the horror attractions will take place within the mazes, a self contained area, although plenty of guests dress up for the event, (no face masks allowed) & roam the park. There may also be staff roaming in costume but the bulk of the thrills will be limited to the horror attraction areas.
can you use student ID cards to buy tickets for fright night as well as the normal day time tickets?
do I have to buy them separate if I want to stay from 10am-10pm?
Hi Saba, your thorpe park ticket covers you for the full day & night experience so you do not need a separate ticket for Fright Nights at Thorpe Park. Are you talking about the current Student Sunday offer that offers 1 day entry for £30 that includes 1 free one-shot fastrack? You will need to book this in advance to secure the discounted price and present valid student ID on the day.
Hi, can I use Tesco clubcard vouchers for entry on Frightnight days
Hi Andy, Thorpe Park are advising customers that you can use tesco clubcard vouchers for Fright Nights – you will need to redeem vouchers prior to your visit and remember they will not guarantee entry if the park reaches capacity on the day of your visit.
Can I use my Tesco voucher ticket for Fright Night this year without any additional cost? I will be going to the park in the morning when it opens so will be there all day. Have tried to contact the park via twitter, phone, email but no success in contacting anyone. In fact they say on their helpline that they by recorded message that they wont answer any voucher queries even if I could get through. Bizarre customer service ethos!
Hi Chaz, whilst we at Topdogdays are independent of Thorpe Park, we understand that the park is advising customers that you can use tesco clubcard vouchers for Fright Nights – you will need to redeem vouchers prior to your visit and remember they will not guarantee entry if the park reaches capacity on the day of your visit.
Hi Topdogdays
How do you redeem your Tesco vouchers prior to your visit? In the past I have taken the voucher to the kiosk in the carpark and redeemed it there (just before entering the park).
Many thanks.
Hi Nicola, my understanding is that tesco clubcard rewards are valid at Thorpe Park during Fright Nights but will not guarantee you entry to the park if it reaches capacity on the day of your visit. You will need to redeem your vouchers for a clubcard voucher code prior to your visit to Thorpe Park. Then simply present the clubcard voucher code to the ticket kiosks on the day.
hi, does anybody know if the ‘bring a friend for £15’ work for the fright nights for premium merlin pass holders?
Hi Jess, Thorpe Park are recommending that you book an extra £1 Premium Annual Pass ticket for each guest to guarantee entry then you can redeem your Bring A Friend voucher on the gate during Fright Nights, (remember to book your own annual pass ticket too).
does anybody know the cost of the fast track for the mazes this year? individual costs. as i will want fast tracks for about 3 of them. thanks
Hi, you can pick up a fastrack ticket for 5 of the mazes, (Saw Alive, The Big Top, Platform 15, The Walking Dead; Living Nightmare & The Walking Dead; Sanctum) for £44pp online. This fastrack, known as The Feared Five, is in addition to your Thorpe Park Fright Night entry charges. You can add a fastrack for Containment for a further £10pp when booking online.
Hi
I know they don’t allow face masks at the fright nights but are there any rules on face paints?
Thanks
Mmm interesting point Sacha – I know Thorpe Park are keen for faces to be shown, (as you Thorpe Park say no face masks), so not sure what their thinking is on face paints. Perhaps best contact Thorpe Park directly with your queries to avoid disappointment on the day – be good if you could pass back feedback to our readers if possible too please.
We planing to go Thorpe on sat 14th Oct. Can we use the 2 for 1 Vouchers.
Hi Denise, Kellogg’s 2 for 1 vouchers are valid at Thorpe Park on 14 October, (not valid 20-31 October 2017). Just be aware that vouchers do not guarantee entry into the park if it reaches capacity so worth setting off early in the day.
Have you found any vouchers that definitely allow entry for the beginning of the month fright nights. I’m struggling to understand the terms and conditions of my goodfellas pizza voucher!
Hi Emma the goodfellas 2 for 1 voucher for thorpe park is valid until 31/5/08, (during main operational year) but excludes Fright Nights running 20-31 October.
Are there live actors on fright night walking around the park trying to scare people if so what time does this start from?? I assumed this was adult only in the evening??
Hi Marie, Thorpe Park suggests Fright Nights are suitable for those 13 years & over but clearly this is not one for those with a nervous disposition so adjust accordingly. The Fright Night experience tends to start around 3/4pm as it goes dark, (Thorpe Park remains open until 10pm in Fright Night dates). Most of the live action takes place within the horror mazes and scare attractions although you can see sight of those around the park too!
hi i was wondering whether normal people going to the park on Halloween would be dressing up , as my boyfriend said that when he was booking tickets that people dress up . And when I look back at videos or any images it seems to appear that no one has dressed up . So i am confused on whether to dress up or not ?
Hi Thara, yes some people do dress up for Fright Nights at Thorpe Park and the oufits can be amazing. The only thing that Thorpe Park insist is no masks or face coverings. Should you prefer not to dress up, you’ll find plenty of visitors doing the same. Have a great day.
Can we use the share the fun tickets for £10 pounds on Friday the 28th for fright night?
Can I use the ‘share the fun’ tickets for fright night on the 28th of October.
Hi Zara, whilst we at Topdogdays are independent of Thorpe Park, my understanding is that you cannot use the share the fun vouchers on that last Fright Night weekend:(
What are the dates for the last weekend?
Hi Zara, it appears that share the fun vouchers can potentially be used during this last fright night weekend IF you pre-book entry into the park and there is capacity at the park. As this is likely to be a popular time to visit, it may well be the case that only those with pre-booked tickets can access the park. There is a £1pp charge for pre-booking tickets. Worth double checking directly with Thorpe Park whether pre-booked sales have already reached capacity.
I have already purchased my tickets online, I will be attending on 31st October but I want to get fast track? how do I get that and is it available for every ride as when I looked on the website it was only available for selected rides.
Hi Chloe, worth checking if you can book online directly with Thorpe Park under ‘Fright Night Extras’ to see if this possible. Alternatively head straight to the fastrack ticket booth as you enter the park on the day of your visit to see what fastrack availability they have, (best doing this early on in your day).
can I get entry in the morning on a fright night with a Tesco day voucher and remain there all day until 10pm with no additional charge?
Hi Helen, yes if you gain entry at Thorpe Park with Tesco clubcard you can enjoy the theme park day as well as the Fright Night within the one admission. Those entering with clubcard entry are subject to capacity limitations so best to arrive early to avoid disappointment.
If I have a merlin pass do I have to pay for fright night at thorpe park or can i use my merlin pass as usual?
Hi Clare, there is an additional charge in place for pass holders during Fright Nights at Thorpe Park depending upon the date you are planning to visit. To guarantee entry, best to book this in advance directly with Thorpe Park to avoid disappointment. All the best, Liz
Hi, I have some of the Premium passholder vouchers ‘Share the Fun’, which you bring a friend for £10, can I use these on fright nights?
many thanks
Hi Sian, my understanding is that you can use Share the Fun vouchers at Thorpe Park during Fright Night, (with the exception of the last weekend of Fright Nights). However these vouchers do not guarantee entry into the park if the park reaches capacity limitations, (this did happen on a number of Fright Night dates last year).
Hi, I think i have standard entry tickets for 14th October. Does that include fright night as it is on that day or will I need to pay extra? Thanks
Hi Katie, your standard theme park ticket for Thorpe Park includes Fright Nights. The horror mazes are included within your theme park ticket with the exception of Containment where there is an additional charge in place. There is also the option of purchasing fastrack tickets to bypass the queues but this comes at an additional cost or simply join the standard queue for free. Have a great day, Liz
Can I go to fright night using my Tesco club card boost tickets?
Hi Callum, yes Tesco clubcard vouchers for Thorpe Park are valid during Fright Nights, (remember to redeem for reward tokens before you go). However Tesco clubcard tokens do not guarantee entry if capacity is reached at the park, (this did happen on a number of Fright Night dates last year). Best to get there early if you are planning to use clubcard tokens and look out for capacity updates from Thorpe Park on social media.
Hi,
I’m getting confused with what the Fright Night tickets incudes? When I go to book tickets online it says 1 Day Ticket. Does this mean you can only go in the day? Or do this ticket allow you to stay until 10pm?
Hi Jessica, your theme park/Fright Night ticket for Thorpe Park includes all the normal rides & attractions at the theme park PLUS entry to all the scare attractions and mazes, (additional charges in place for Containment), that open during the later part of the day. Your ticket allows you to stay through until the end of the day, (10pm). There are fastrack tickets available at additional charge for those wishing to bypass the queues for the horror mazes or you can join the standard queues for the mazes at no extra charge. All the best, Liz
can i go to throne park in the morning and avoid fright night? I’m going with the school but i have a fear of halloween so if i sat inside a bit before 3:00 will i miss it?
Hi Maddie, the park is open as normal during the day with all the usual rides & attractions open to enjoy. From 3pm many of the scare attractions open but these are contained within confined areas so you don’t actual see any of the horror action unless you have queued and gained access to the scare attraction of your choice. There will often be people dressed up & wondering around the park & you’ll see Halloween themed decoration around the park but apart from that you can enjoy your full day away from the scare attractions.
HI,
I was wondering is it only the fright night attractions that are open till 10pm or is it the whole park as I can’t find it anywhere online stating if it is or isn’t.
Thanks
Hi Brooke, as well as the Fright Night horror mazes & scare attractions there will be a selection of rides open until 10pm too. Subject to availability these should include The Swarm, Stealth & Saw the Ride so you have a chance to experience some of the thrill rides in the dark. I hope this helps, Liz
Hi,
I keep getting mixed messages from Thorpe park on twitter/facebook. I’m planning on going this Saturday 8th October which is a fright night, I have a kelloggs 2 for 1 online ticket printed out (bar code entry). I asked them if it was valid as its technically an ‘event’ being a fright night but its not listed in their exclusion dates, and they said it would work to me on facebook.
However, the wording of the exclusions does say it excludes ‘events’ at all attractions, so if we are being really technical it depends on whether fright nights is classed as an ‘event’ which I think it is but its down to interpretation.
Don’t have a backup plan as already paid for those tickets and don’t want to spend £50 on the door extra each, however I do have Thorpe’s reply in writing saying they will work. It doesn’t seem like they have a coherent policy. Don’t say to me they will work then later say they won’t!
On the ticket itself, it only lists 21-31st as exclusions, so I’m hoping for the best and showing them that they said in writing the tickets were ok.
Hi Jessica, yes I always think that this is confusing when you read through the full terms & conditions for the 2 for 1 vouchers. Whilst Topdogdays is independent of Thorpe Park, my understanding is that Kellogg’s 2 for 1 vouchers are valid during Fright Nights, (but are NOT valid 21-31 October 2016), so you can use them on 8 October. However, 2 for 1 vouchers do not guarantee entry into the park and are subject to capacity limitations at the park.
Hi! I have tickets for Fright night, what is the best time to go, it gets dark at around 6.30pm! Thanks
I have fast track to go onto the Mazes and 4 other rides
Hi Sal, the fright night attractions open from 3pm although as you say it doesn’t go dark until 6ish when the attractions take on an even more sinister twist. Queues tend to get longer as the day goes on as more people make their way to the park for the scare attractions, (although you already have fastrack tickets for the mazes), so it can make sense to make an early start and get some rides under your belt. I am assuming you have pre-booked tickets otherwise always best to get there early to ensure entry before the park reaches capacity.
hi Im coming to Thorpe park for fright night i would like to no if we can get fast track tickets for all the mazes and how much for all of them and can i buy them at the gate? thanks
Hi Michael, yes you can purchase fastrack tickets for the Fright Night mazes either online in advance or on the day at the park, (subject to capacity). There are a range of fastrack tickets available for Fright Nights from Feared Five that gives you access to each of Thrope Park’s horror mazes, (currently priced at £30) through to VIP Frights currently priced £90pp that includes admission, 5 fastrack passes and RIP lounge access. In previous years we’ve also found single fastrack options available at the park on the day too. Fastracks are very popular for Fright Nights and, by their very nature, limited in numbers. If this is a must for you it might be worth booking in advance to avoid disappointment. If you opt to buy on the day, make your way directly to the fastrack ticket booth within the park to purchase tickets as soon as you can.
Hi
are there any vouchers or discounts for 29th October this year?
Hi Kayleigh, I’ve checked all the 2 for 1 vouchers for Thorpe Park that we’ve come across, (Kellogg’s 2 for 1, Cadbury 2 for 1 & Branston Beans 2 for 1 voucher) and none of them are valid for use from 21 October – 31 October, sorry:( 2 for 1 vouchers do not guarantee entry and we’ve seen in previous years that Thorpe Park has had to restrict entry to ticketed guests only as they’ve reached capacity on popular nights like the 29 October so best to pre-book.
Will it be the same this year?
Hi Fiona, there will be a Fright Night Season this year at Thorpe Park but the full details have yet to announced. Cabin in the Woods & The Big Top are set to return again for another year along with the chance to experience Swarm, Saw the Ride & Stealth in the dark. We’re hearing something new could be here for Fright Night 2016 and we’ll post more details as they come in.
Hi there, my 3 mates and Just missed out on tickets for Thorpe Park Fright night on the official site. How we have found a 3rd party site (365tickets.com) and they have available tickets on the selected date of 31/10/15.. Would these tickets be for standard days? Will the tickets also work for 31/10/15? Let me know asap. Thanks
Hi Satyam, Thorpe Park are now saying only those with pre-booked tickets are guaranteed entry for today and no walk up tickets available so this suggests that tickets from third parties wouldn’t be available – perhaps best to check with Thorpe Park before you opt for this.
If my friend had a standard annual pass would I get a discount on the fright night tickets?
Hi Izzy, standard annual passholders would gain discounted entry for £10pp but unfortunately no discounts for others:(
Can I use my two-for-one cereal box vouchers for fright night on 1 November
Hi Darren, the Kellogg’s Adults Go Free voucher is not valid at Thorpe Park from 23-31 October but is fine to use on 1 November subject to capacity limitations at the park.
Can I use the two-for-one cereal box vouchers for fright night on 1 November
Can you please tell me why fright night is showing up on line ad 49.99 so how much is it on the door I think this is terrible so there is no discount online ???
Hi Krystal, Topdogdays is independent of Thorpe Park and unfortunately I do not have any specific information relating to online ticket prices:( I understand that the online price does vary during peak busy times & this maybe what you are seeing as we get closer to Halloween.
Will tickets be available for fright night on the door this morning?
Hi Lisa, Topdogdays is independent of Thorpe Park, (we simply let you know where the deals are) & unfortunately doesn’t have access to capacity information – perhaps best to contact Thorpe Park directly. Sorry I can’t be of more help:(
Hi Can you tell me why the the tickets have gone up from 29.99 to 44.99, it is saying there are only premier tickets avaliable in the space of this happening within two hours what do you get extra compared to others paying 29..99
Kind regards
Caroline
Hi Caroline, topdogdays is independent of Thorpe Park, (we just let you know where the best deals are), so you would perhaps best directing your specific query to Thorpe Park – sorry I can’t offer more assistance:(
My son will be collecting prebooked tickets on Wednesday. Is it worth getting there early – can he collect them before the actuall park opens? And are there usually big queues for ticket collection?
Hi Mandy, yes the ticket booths open earlier than the park and, with it being Fright Night, it is likely to be busy. If your son has collected his ticket before the park opens, he will be raring to go and beat some of the queues for the big thrill rides. Saying that, it is a long day with the park open until 9pm!
hi i want to go to fright night on 27th and i have kellogs 2 for 1 enntry can i still use that voucher for frught night or do i have to buy separate tickets for fright night or can i upgrade the 2 for 1 voucher?
Hi Dil, unfortunately you cannot use the Kellogg’s Adults Go Free vouchers at Thorpe Park between 23-31 October:(
I haven’t yet booked tickets for thorpe park but I’m going to use tesco clubcard vouchers for tickets on the 29th October. Will I be able to get in? Are they valid? And what time do I need to get there in the morning as I’m not attending fright night to definitely geT in before the capacity limit is reached?
Hi Molly, whilst Tesco clubcard reward tokens are valid at Thorpe Park on 29 Oct, they do not guarantee entry and are subject to capacity limitations, (on select peak days last Fright Night season Thorpe Park limited entry to those with pre-booked tickets only). If you do plan to use clubcard tokens, best to keep an eye on any updates from Thorpe Park on the run up to the day regarding capacity and get there as early as you can.
Hi, we want to go to Thorpe Park during half term but are not interested in the fright night attractions. We have one premium annual pass, 2 standard annual passes and a blue peter badge holder. Will we be able to go just for normal day at Thorpe Park without any of the extra halloween stuff and will we have to pay extra to get in as we normally get in for free with our passes.
Thanks
Hi Cathy, to guarantee entry the Premium Annual Passholder would need to reserve entry, (£1 reservation fee), to secure entry the standard annual passholders would need to purchase an annual pass fright night ticket, (currently £10pp and best to book in advance to guarantee entry). Unfortunately you cannot use the Blue Peter badge free offer between 23 & 31 October 2015. These conditions & exclusion dates are in place whether you plan to visit the fright night attractions or just the rides:(
Can you tell me what dates I can use my 2for1 ticket for the sun news paper
Over fright night thanksy
What dates can I use my 2for1 ticket from the sun news paper over
Fright night thanks
Hi Catherine, you can use the 2 for 1 Fright Night voucher currently being issued in The Sun on select dates only & excludes 23-25 October & 30-31 October 2015. A 2 for 1 voucher does not guarantee entry & entry is subject to park capacity limitations.
Hi Catherine, just a further update as there is some confusion over exclusion dates on the 2 for 1 voucher for Thorpe Park currently running in The Sun. The full terms & conditions state that the voucher is excluded for use at Thorpe Park from 23-31 October, (merlinentertainments.biz/terms/SunOct15). However in write-up next to the voucher it states that the voucher is excluded from use 23-25 October & 30-31 October. Perhaps best to double check with Thorpe Park before setting off.
Hi Catherine, we’ve now had clarification from Thorpe Park that The Sun 2 for 1 voucher in The Sun is not valid at Thorpe Park between 23 – 31 October:(
if i have a premium merlin pass and i can get 3 friends in for free does it still work on fright night?
if i have a premium merlin pass and i can get 3 friend in for £10 does it still work for fright nights?
Hi Lianne, yes you can use the £10 vouchers over Fright Nights but these vouchers are subject to capacity limitations at the park so best to arrive early:)
Can I take my 9 year old son to fright night Thorpe park
Hi Vicky, Thorpe Park suggests that Thorpe Park Fright Nights are not suitable for those under the age of 13 years. Whilst your son can gain access the park & rides as usual, the age suitability relates to the horror mazes.
Hi me and my partner have booked a one day ticket online we were wondering is there an entry fee when we get to the park on the day or is everything included in the tickets we have purchased thank you 🙂
Hi Joe, the horror mazes are included within your Fright Night Theme Park ticket although you can pay extra for fastrack tickets if you want to reduce your maze queue times. Containment, a horror experience, is in addition to your theme park ticket.
Hi. Me and my brother have pre booked 2 day passes for the 26/27th of October. I’ve now got a hospital appointment on the 27th. Can he take someone else on the second day? The tickets were booked in his name.
Hi David, unfortunately I’m not sure if this is possible so I suggest you contact Thorpe Park directly to double check this.
Hi there I am looking at going fright night on Friday I have a season pass how much will it be as I can’t find anything please help.
Hi Kimberly if you have a standard Merlin Pass, if you book online with Thorpe Park, you can pick up Fright Nights tickets for just £5, (just look for the ‘Book Annual Pass Fright Nights Ticket’ tab on the Thorpe Park site. If you have a Premium Merlin Pass, you can reserve your Fright Night ticket for a £1 reservation fee.
Hi,
Does NHS discount work during fright night???
Many thanks
Emily Banks
Sorry Emily, I’m not sure of the NHS discount terms & conditions over Fright Nights so you are probably best contacting Thorpe Park directly to double check that one. Be great if you could let us know plse if this is valid so we can pass it on to our readers.
Do I have to use this at the gate or can I use it to buy the ticket in advance?
Hi Curtis, if you are looking to use a valid 2 for 1 voucher, you will need to be accompanied by someone paying the full on-the-gate price ticket. There are some excluded dates with 2 for 1 vouchers, so worth double checking the terms & condition over Fright Nights. Also be aware that 2 for 1 vouchers do not guarantee entry as they are subject to capacity limitations so best to get there early on the day of your visit.
Hi I’m going Thorpe Park on the 18th October and bought tickets online. Does that mean guaranteed entry at anytime?
Hi Zainab, yes tickets purchased online from Thorpe Park guarantee entry:)
Hi im going to thorpe park fright night tomorrow and i have a standard annual pass and cant find how much it costs to get me in and my gf because i was going to use one person per time for 10 pounds can u help please
And how much would the thorpe shark hotel cost with a standard annual pass
Hi Andrew, this will vary depending upon the date you are looking to visit the park so best to check directly with Thorpe Breaks and click on the ‘annual passholders’ tab for rates & availability.
I can see that you can book standard Merlin passholder tickets online at Thorpe Park for £5pp, (present ticket and a valid pass on the day of your visit). Look for the ‘Book Annual Pass Fright Night Tickets’ tab on the Thorpe Park site. Premium passholders can also book online with a reservation fee charge of £1.
Hi, my two children have blue peter badges, can they be used w/c 25 October to get into Thorpe Park? Also, can they enter the park with the badges with other paying children or do they have to have a paying adult. The children are 14. Thanks
Hi Marcia, unfortunately the Blue Peter badge offer excludes the 23 -31 October at Thorpe Park:( Also just to let you know that the blue peter badge offer can only be used when accompanied by a full paying adult &, within the terms & conditions, it states that the offer cannot be used by more than one Blue Peter badge holder for each paying adult.
hello i am wanting to go to Thorpe park tomorrow for fright night i have brought a tescos clubcard ticket but am worried that it will not be vaild and i won’t be alllowed entry can i use it
Hi Emily, whilst we are independent of Thorpe Park my understanding is that the tesco clubcard reward token will be valid at Thorpe Park subject to capacity limitations at the park so best to arrive as early as possible to ensure entry – enjoy:)
thank you so much you saved me
Hi Emily, hope it all works out for you:)
Hi,can you please let me know when can I Pre- book tickets for fright night please?
Hi Sandra, you can pre-tickets directly from Thorpe Park for all Fright Night dates:)
hi were looking to book fright night tickets for 17th only for 5 people
Hi Georgina, Topdogdays is independent of Thorpe Park, (we just let you know where the deals are) and unfortunately we are not involved in the administration of Thorpe Park tickets.
Will I be able to use any type of Kelloggs voucher on the 24th October? Thank you
Hi Kai, unfortunately you cannot use the Kellogg’s Adults Go Free voucher at Thorpe Park on 24 October – these vouchers are not valid from 23 October through to 31 October 2015:(
Hi, can I use a 2 for 1 vouchers for a fright night this Saturday the 17th of October?
Hi Alex, both the Kellogg’s Adults Go Free voucher and the Birds Eye Merlin voucher can be used during select Fright Nights at Thorpe Park, (excluding 23-31 October 2015), so are valid on 17 October. However there are capacity limitations at the park and those with 2 for 1 vouchers are not guaranteed entry into the park.
Hey
I’ve got a Kellogg’s voucher can it be use in Saturday 17th??
Many thanks
Hi Grace, yes the Kellogg’s Adults Go Free vouchers are valid for use at Thorpe Park on 17 October for Fright Night, (not valid 23-31 October 2015). However saying that, there are capacity limitations at the park and those with 2 for 1 vouchers are not guaranteed entry into the park.
Hi,
I have a 2 for 1 token from kellogs for thorpe park. Can i use it for fright night on 26/10/15
Many thanks
Hi Jadr, unfortunately the Kellogg’s Adults Go Free voucher is not valid at Thorpe Park Fright Nights from 23-31 October 2015:(
Please can u send me on the door ticket prices for the fright night event at Thorpe park please… Also info on attractions if possible.. Thank you ?
Hi Judy, we are independent of Thorpe Park but I can see from their site that on the day tickets start from £49.99pp. Just to let you know that there were select Fright Night dates last year that reached park capacity and entry was restricted to those with pre-booked tickets only:(
Hi, I was going to go to Thorpe park on one of the days between 9th-11th. We were going to stay the full day. We have Kellogg’s 2 for 1 vouchers so will we be able to enter for fright night on the days with these? (Also is there any age limitations on stuff as we are 14)
Hi Will, Thorpe Park suggests Fright Nights at Thorpe Park are not suitable for children under the age of 13 years but there are no strict rules on age restrictions for these events. Whilst the Kellogg’s adults go free vouchers are valid between 9 & 11 October, they are subject to capacity at the park and do not guarantee entry. You will need a separate 2 for 1 voucher for each day at the park.
how much is it
Hi I have just used the 50% off o2 priority moments code for tomorrow (3rd nov) but there is nothing on the ticket that says it is a fright night ticket? thanks
Hi Samantha, best to contact O2 directly for the terms & conditions of this loyalty scheme. However, keep in mind that Thorpe Park have limited tickets to pre-booked tickets only, (which meant those with vouchers couldn’t gain entry) since 30 October due to capacity limitations. Worth keeping an eye on Thorpe Park facebook for updates.
Hi I have 2 for 1 entry tickets from The Sun newspaper valid from oct 25 until Nov 2nd, does this include fright night? As I am going tomorrow with a friend. Also the website says prebooked tickets only for this date, does that mean I cannot pay on arrival at the entrance?
Hi Lynette, unfortunately Thorpe Park have now stated that 2 November is strictly pre-book only and so you will NOT be able to use The Sun 2 for 1 voucher. This does also mean you cannot pay on arrival at the entrance:(
I have the 2 for 1 tickets from a wotsit bag, would I be able to use this for tomorrow or as it is scarefest it isnt valid and would have to pay for two full tickets??
Hi the Walkers half price vouchers are valid at Alton Towers for scarefest – remember that only one voucher can be used per person & per transaction.
Hi Mc, just to clarify the Walker crisps half price vouchers are valid at Alton Towers Scarefest but NOT Thorpe Park Fright Nights, (I’ve just noted your comment is on a Thorpe Park article).
Hi there. I noticed you said about the horror mazes opening at 3pm and was wondering what time would be best to start queuing for your first maze. Also, what is the typical maze wait time for a Saturday (we’re going tomorrow)?
*hi
Hi Tom, this is difficult to assess as queue times change from day to day depending upon the numbers at the park. The mazes are located centrally within the park so worth just keeping an eye on when queues start to build on the day of your visit. Thorpe Park were trialling a ‘reserve n ride’ free virtual queue system on earlier Fright Night dates so worth asking if this is running again on the day of your visit – I can’t see any information on this so it is quite possible that they are not rolling this out for other Fright Night dates.
hello I’m going Thorpe park on Saturday and I was wondering if the 2 for 1 are valid on that date??
Hi Sara, the 2014 Kelloggs Go Free vouchers are valid at Thorpe Park on 25 October, (but not valid 30 October – 2 November)
With O2 50% off tickets in the terms and conditions it says something about bringing documentation to claim your free ticket?
Sorry Meg, you’ll need to check this loyalty card discount directly with O2 to avoid disappointment:(
Hello I was wondering if I can pay on the door when I get there for fright night on Halloween or would I have to book it online
Hi Amber, you can pay on the door or book online. If you book online, you can take advantage of online discounts and guarantee entry. If you pay at the door, you will pay a higher price ticket and entry is subject to capacity limitations within the park so best to get there early if you chose this option.
Do you have to buy a fight night ticket to stay until closing time on a fright night or can you just buy a normal day ticket?
Hi Meg, there is only one ticket available for Thorpe Park whether you opt to stay on for fright nights or leave before it begins:(
Hi can we use kelloggs 2 for 1 tickets before 3pm
Hi Joey, yes you can use kelloggs Grown Ups Go Free vouchers before 3pm at Thorpe Park but just watch out for exclusion dates, (not valid 30 October – 2 November).
Very excited to attend my very first Fright Night XD
I’m wondering how much standard tickets are when purchased at the gate and whether we will need to pay extra to access the horror mazes?
Best wishes
Hi Noreen, entrance to the horror mazes are included within your admission tickets. From the Thorpe park website, I can see that the standard on-the-gate ticket price is £49.99 although it is not clear whether this includes special events such as Fright Nights. You can take advantage of online discounts or 2 for 1 vouchers, (although lookout out for exclusion dates). Enjoy:)
To whom it may concern, we are part of a theatrical group based in Southampton and we are planning on attending fright night on either the 31st October or the 1st November. We will be dressing up in costumes we have prepared. We are looking for a cheaper way to get in as it would be an expensive day with the make up and costumes already costing a lot. The sun has been giving away two for one tickets for the new opening or studio 13. It does not say that the tickets are not valid for any of the fright night days I wanted to double check if we were able to enter with these tickets. Many thanks Liz Bennett.
Hi Liz, unfortunately The Sun 2 for 1 voucher issued in October is NOT valid at Thorpe Park from 29 October – 2 November. Many of the 2 for 1 voucher/half price vouchers are not valid for the most popular Fright Night dates that includes the date of your potential visit 31 October or 1 November:(
Hi, myself and a group are attending fright night however do we need to purchase entry tickets aswell as the fright night tickets to get in? We’re arriving at around 4pm ish
Hi, your Thorpe Park ticket will secure you entry into the park so you won’t need to purchase a second ticket:)
Hello I’ve purchased a fright night ticket I know fright night starts at 3 but does the ticket allow me access to Thorpe park all day? Please let me know ASAP as I’m due to go this Saturday
Hi Lucy, yes standard tickets offer entry to the park from the moment the park opens for the day and then access the fright night experiences from 3pm:)
Hi there, I am a premium annuall pass holder and I have pre-booked my tickets for 31st October 2014, I’m just wondering do we pay for the mazes even though we are premiums?
Hi Adam, mazes are included within your entry ticket. I imagine the 31 October is going to be a particularly busy night so worth knowing that there are fastrack tickets available at an additional cost.
Hi there I’ve got tickets for me and my partner at fright night including mazes but think she’s scared that on a couple of them we have to split up and go on our own .. Or can we go through every maze together ? Thanks George
Hi George, aspects of the horror mazes can change from year to year, (plus the Studio 13 horror maze is new for 2014), so I can’t say with any certainty what you’ll be letting yourselves it for!
Hi, I am a 14 year old boy who isn’t great with scary things, especially when things jump out. A Lot of my friends are going and I said I would go with them but I’m debating it now. Do you advise that I try it or just not go?
Hi Ryan, Fright Nights at Thorpe Park are very much about unexpected scares with people jumping out at you. There are 5 horror mazes at Thorpe Park and there are plenty of unexpected scares, people jumping out at you whilst you make your way around. Understandably this isn’t for everyone so I’d perhaps think carefully about whether this one is for you.
Hello, I was just wondering if actors still walk around the park during fright night??
Yes, in the Fright Night blurb it states that there are ‘Roaming Scare Characters; Renowned American horror author Michael Grant is using his creative genius to conjure up a unique scare experience with 13 terrifying characters.’ Be great if you could feedback your thoughts on these roaming characters after your visit.
Hi, we have a standard merlin family passes and I wanted to take the kids in the morning. Do we have to pay the extra charges for fright night even though they’re too young for the mazes etc?
Hi Sarah, unfortunately you will need to pay the additional charge for standard Merlin Passes, (£10pp):( You may wish to consider whether to re-arrange for a date outside of Fright Nights to keep the cost down as well as the queues, (Fright Nights can be one of the most popular times at the park).
Hi, I have a visit Britain one day ticket for Thorpe park which is valid for a year and says it can be used from 12th march to 8th November. Will this include the fright nights? im planning to go on the 18th oct. I paid £25 for the ticket only a couple of weeks ago but the Thorpe park website is saying even in advance the tickets for that day are £34.99. not sure if I have to buy an extra ticket or it will be valid.
Hi Calvin, in general terms, Fright Nights are included within your entrance ticket. I’ve had a look on the Visit Britain site and I cannot see any excluded dates with this offer although it may be worth double checking directly with them. You can find contact details over at Contact Visit Britain.
Hi! I have a premium merlin pass and would like to attend the fright night tonight 10 Oct. Am I correct in saying I just arrive at the gates for entry with my pass because I have not found anywhere to prebook a ticket for me and I know I get free entry? Pls advise. Thanks!
Hi Candice, yes you are right that you gain free entry to Fright Nights with a Premium Merlin Pass – however, you do need to pre-book your free ticket. Go to Thorpe Park Fright Nights and scroll about two-thirds the way the down until you see ‘Premium & VIP Merlin Annual Pass Holders’ to apply for your ticket.
I also notice they are doing reserve’n’ride for the mazes this year. Great for those of us (like me) who have already purchased director cut fast track……. ;o(
Be interesting to see how the reserve’n’ride works in practice & good to see Thorpe Park trying to improve the experience for everyone in the park. Having said that, I imagine it’ll still be a much quicker experience with the director cut fastrack as I can’t see Thorpe Park installing anything that is likely to reduce their fastrack income. Be great if you could feedback with your thoughts following your visit:)
Do I have this right? I have clubcard vouchers for 2 people. Can I attend TP at 10am on a fright night day and stay in the park until 10pm, accessing mazes as well? Theres no separate ticket for fright night access is there?
Yes, that’s right – however, they do not guarantee entry & as Fright Nights are very popular, best to get to the park as early as possible:)
Oh ill be there for opening time, expecting the masses to be there. Mind you, Friday 17th seems a good bet (kids at school still) and its a weekday. Or am I just trying to convince myself lol
Hi there can you help and tell me can I just buy tickets to go to the extra cut night and not stay in the hotel as there is a few of us that would like to do it and live in staines so don’t need to stay in the hotel also can you turn up at 10 when the park shuts and the extra cut night begins many thanks
Hi Debbie, unfortunately the Fright Night Extra Cut attraction is an overnight experience only:(
Ok thank you very much what are the price of the hole thing thanks Debbie
The Fright Night Extra Cut package starts from £125pp based on 4 people sharing. More details available at Thorpe Park Breaks.
Hi there, fright nights 2014 – can u pay a reduced entry and arrive after 5pm? Or do u have to purchase a full day entry ticket? Thanks in advance 🙂
Hi Debbie, whilst I know this is something they offer on select nights at Alton Towers for Scarefest, unfortunately this is not something I’ve come across for Fright Nights:(
Hi,
I have Tesco clubcard tickets which I am planning to use 17.10 (Friday fright night). I intend on getting to the park before opening time.
I have also purchased director fast track for the mazes. Are all mazes then included?
I know its a guess, but do you think ill be able to get the big 5 rides and all mazes done in the day/evening on this basis?
Many thanks
Hi, I can see that the Director’s Cut includes a fastrack ticket for all 5 horror mazes; Saw Alive, My Bloody Valentine, The Blair Witch Project, Cabin in the Woods & Studio 13. This ticket offers fastrack time slots from 3pm so I would anticipate that you would achieve all 5 mazes. The Tesco clubcard tickets are subject to park capacity numbers but as you intend to be at the park before opening times, this should be fine too. Enjoy:)
Hi
I have a Kellogg’s ‘Free Adult Entry’ voucher and would like to know if I will be able to use it during the Fright Nights period. The voucher makes no reference to any restrictions for Thorpe Park up until 30/06/15, however, I have read below that the promotions will not be valid from 30 Oct- 2 Nov.
I’m planning to visit on 25 October, will this voucher be accepted on that date?
Thanks!
Hi, that’s my understanding of it too – the Kelloggs voucher is valid during Fright Nights with the exception of 30 October – 2 November 2014:)
i have purchased thorpe park ticket for £12 with my club card vouchers for my daughter whose 14. Can you pls advise if she can use this on fright night on 31st October. There are going to be group of 10 where others have pre booked their tkts for the day. Will she definately get in as dont want her to be left at the gate when the others go in. They are getting there for approx 7pm. Also if the official thorpe park callender indicates tkts sold out for 31st Oct what happens then? Is it the arrival @ the gate that determines entry. Pls advise as daughter getting anxious about the whole thing. Thank you
Hi Harvey, Topdogdays is independent of Thorpe Park, (we simply let you know where the deals are), but from the terms & conditions of the Tesco reward offer, it states that ‘Your token does not guarantee entry if THORPE PARK Resort walk up capacity has been reached.’ My understanding is that those with a pre-booked ticket will be guaranteed entry but those without a pre-booked ticket, (such as Tesco clubcard rewards, vouchers etc), will be refused entry once capacity at the park has been reached. Clearly 31 October is likely to be the most popular Fright Night event but you may wish to contact Thorpe Park directly to clarify the matter further.
Hi I want to go to a fright night and was wondering if anyone knew what the quietest night would be? Is it better to go after halloween?
Many of the promotional 2 or 1 vouchers are NOT valid from 30 October – 2 November which suggests these are the busiest times to visit Thorpe park Fright Nights. October half term is generally a busy time too. If I were to hazard a guess, I would say the earlier 2 weekends, (10-12, 17-19 October) would be the quieter times although it is always difficult to assess. Let us know how you get on so we can pass it on.
Very disappointed with the LACK of live actors that were advertised as being in the parks grounds. Walking around and Amongst the public.
There was no clown on the scooter as in the Saw film. Although pictures were shown of him..
I have an annual pass and went on many evenings so it isnt like we went on a quiet night.
Very disappointing..
Hi Julie, thanks for the feedback regarding your experience of Fright Nights. Whilst we are independent of Thorpe Park, it is always good to hear how people are finding the actual experience rather than the advertised one that we can then pass onto our readers.
Do the gates close to get into the park at any particular time on fright night or can you get in at any time through the day if you wanted to come later rather than at 10? I have my ticket and want to go today but at 3 rather than 10.
Hi Day, as long as you already have a pre-purchased ticket for Thorpe Park, that will be fine. It is only those that don’t have a ticket already that the advice is to get there as early as possible.
Hello, if I’m going Thorpe tomorrow and I’ve got tesco clubcard vouchers can I still get in during the day ?
Dan, Tesco Clubcard rewards have confirmed that Thorpe Park reward tokens are valid during Fright Nights at Thorpe Park although they do not guarantee entry to the park. Yes, your clubcard token will gain you access to Thorpe Park during the day too as well as the horror mazes & rides in the dark that start up in the afternoon. As Fright Nights can be a very busy time for Thorpe Park, it is important to be aware that, once they reach capacity for the day, they will be unable to allow anyone in who hasn’t pre-booked entry.
Hi im calling regarding about the fright night mazes i was wondering what mazes will be open on the 1st of november?
Hi John, Frights Night at Thorpe Park are running every day now through until 3 November 2013 where all fright night attractions & horror mazes should be on offer each day, (subject to availability).
There are severe weather warnings for tomorrow. When will you decide whether you will open. We have already booked tickets and are travelling a long way..
Hi Robert, Topdogdays simply provides information on deals & discounts for top visitor attractions & is independent of all settings such as Thorpe Park. Best to contact Throrpe Park directly to discuss this matter. Fingers crossed for you.
Hi, i’m just booking my thorpe park tickets online, (For a fright Night) Do you have to buy the maze tickets online? It is not clear what “Face it alone” is? When you are there do mazes work like rides, (Just queuing up) or do you have to show some sort of ticket?
El, the mazes are included within your admission ticket to Fright Nights at Thorpe Park. You can reduce your wait times by purchasing fastrack tickets or simply wait in line for the mazes at no additional cost, (but longer queue times). Face It Alone is an add on experience, (they deliberately keep the details quite vague so as not to spoil the surprise element) for a more personal experience within the horror maze of your choice…this is priced at £15 per maze.
Hi I’m going to thorpe park friday with 3 friends and we have 2 tesco clubcard vouchers for 1 day entry which i have checked are valid. We also have a 2 for 1 voucher off a bottle of frijj which is also valid exclusion dates start from 26th. What i want to know is, how much will an adult ticket be on the day? Just want to know so we can have the right money 🙂 thanks in advance!
Bethan, a full price ticket to Thorpe Park currently stands at £45.60, (12 years & over). Have a great day:)
Hi there, I have a 2 for 1 ticket voucher to go Thorpe Park or Alton Towers, I’m using the tickets to go Thorpe Park but I want to know is it possible I can use the tickets for Fright Night November 1st ? The terms and condition says the voucher is valid until November 24th but it also says the tickets are not valid for special events/hotels/concerts but I’m receiving a whole load of different answers so really I need to know what I can do ? I’ve tried calling Thorpe Park but I can’t even get to the customer service part.
P.S please help
Steve, there are so many 2 for 1 vouchers for Thorpe Park & Alton Towers out there that I cannot give specifics regarding your voucher. Generally any exclusion dates for 2 for 1 vouchers are written within the small print on the voucher so double check valid dates for both Alton Towers & Thorpe Park. Again, generally ‘special events/concerts’ relates to Firework nights, Ministry of Sound dates, concert dates rather than Fright Nights & Scarefest UNLESS specific Fright Night/Scarefest dates are given as exclusion dates with the terms & conditions.
Hi, my mum got me a ticket to thorpe for like 11 pounds worth of tesco vouchers and I’ve printed it off and everything and meant to be going tomorrow but will this still be ok to use even though it’s fright night? :S
Hayley, Tesco Clubcard rewards have confirmed that Thorpe Park reward tokens are valid during Fright Nights at Thorpe Park although they do not guarantee entry to the park. As Fright Nights can be a very busy time for Thorpe Park, it is important to be aware that, once they reach capacity for the day, they will be unable to allow anyone in who hasn’t pre-booked entry, (ie those using 2 for 1 vouchers, clubcard reward vouchers etc). The best advice if you are going to use clubcard reward tokens during Fright Nights is to ensure you get there early.
Hi i’ve been trying to book the crashpad for 2 on any one of the fright night weekends. However i’m not seeing it on the list of the hotels given when booking… is this because there are no vacancies left or am i missing something??? thanks for the help,
Lee, I’ve checked with Thorpe Breaks & they have said this will be because its sold out for the dates you are selecting:(
Hi, i have a 2 4 1 entry to any of the UK’s top attractions. Its a fills for thrills coupon from Tesco’s. Its valid for Thorpe Park but i was wondering if its valid for Fright Night? On the coupon it states that it excludes certain dates but doesn’t say anything excluding special events at Thorpe Park..
Stacey, I haven’t seen the full terms & conditions of this specific voucher so unfortunately I cannot give a definitive answer. Generally, exclusion dates are given on the voucher so check the exclusion dates given do not include Fright Night dates at Thorpe Park, (18-20 Oct or 25 Oct – 3 Nov). In general terms, ‘special events’ tends to refer to concerts, firework nights, Ministry of Sound events.
Hi! Me and my friend want to go Fright Night this Saturday, can you pay at the gate one adult rate and use a 2for1?
Hi Amy, there are so many 2 for 1 vouchers currently running for Thorpe Park; each with slightly differing terms & conditions. Best to check the small print on the voucher for any exclusion terms. If it is valid, they you can just turn up on the date and pay the full price adult rate to secure free entry. Fright Nights are one of the most popular times of the year for Thorpe Park, so worth getting there early to ensure entry:)
Hi! Thanks for that, I checked the ticket and its valid! My mum is seeing tomorrow just to secure it and we’re hopefully going Saturday!
Thanks for the help 🙂
Very welcome, have fun:)
hi there just wondering if my tesco clubcard vouchers will let me gain access to thorpe park on 5th october as i know its a fright night?
Hi James, Tesco rewards have confirmed that Thorpe Park rewards are valid during Fright Nights at Thorpe Park although they do not guarantee entry to the park. Fright Nights can be the busiest time of the year for Thorpe Park and once they reach capacity for the day, they will be unable to allow anyone in who hasn’t pre-booked entry, (ie those using 2 for 1 vouchers, clubcard reward vouchers etc). The best advice if you are going to use clubcard reward tokens during Fright Nights is to ensure you get there early. Special events relate to concerts, corporate events etc.
ok cheers. Would you say if i reached the gates at 10 then that would be okay?
Hi James, I would have thought so as most of the Fright Night attractions/mazes kick off in the afternoon…although I have to say, I am only passing on what tesco clubcard told me:)
Hi, I’ve just booked a night at Crash Pad + Entry into park on freight night Sun Oct 6th(+free day)
Thing is the booking was made via my Dad’s Visa card so that we’re covered if any issues occur etc, but now it says that he’s the lead name/party leader on the Crash Pad confirmation… Thing is, he won’t actually be attending, it will be my girlfriend and I (ages 28 + 25) attending, I’ve checked on the terms & conditions and it looks like the Lead name (my Dad) has to be present or show photographic and/or credit card upon arrival.
I’ve emailed Thorpe Park and no reply as yet, so thought I would ask on here…
What’s the best way to go about this to ensure we don’t get refused entry into Crash Pad or the park itself? I was hoping if I bring my passport and my Dads passport (Lead name/party leader) then this will be okay. I’m hoping I don’t have to bring his Visa down with us too as he’d then be without it for 2 days which may not be possible? Just a little concerned that we may be refused entry to Crash Pad so thought I’d try and find out before what the deal is here?!
Also, I’ve printed off the tickets and it says we can’t check in til 2pm at Crash Pad, do these ‘pre-printed’ tickets gain us access straight into the park and then we can check in at Crash Pad after or do we have to get our park entry tickets by checking into Crash Pad first? Also, when/how do receive our ‘+ free day park entry tickets’, which we’d likely use the following day (Monday)
Sorry for all the questions, but my main concern is the Lead Name/Party leader issue.
Hope you can help.
Hi Aaron, my understanding is that visitor attractions put this in place to help protect against card fraud but I would think there are ways & means around this. I think you are best doing as you are & continue with your efforts to contact Thorpe Park Crash Pad directly to resolve these matters. If you have no joy through email, you could always try the booking number on 0871 360 2629. Hope you manage to work things out:)
Do the people roam around all day and when does the fright night actually start because I have booked the day but I don’t want to be touched by the actors and get scared as I am 13.
Rosie, most of the Fright Night attractions tend to kick off from 3pm onwards particularly as it starts to going dark for the night.
Hi. I have a Tesco clubcard 2for1 voucher. But I want to use this while I buy my tickets as I can
Only buy them online. is there anyway of doing this?
Hi Beth, I like your thinking but unfortunately with a 2 for 1 voucher you cannot take advantage of online ticket prices. 2 for 1 vouchers must be used on the day of your visit and are only valid when accompanied by a full paying person, (check the terms & conditions of your voucher as often this must be a full paying adult), that purchases the on the gate ticket price at Thorpe Park. Also worth checking for any exclusion dates too.
**If the gates close at 9pm tonight does that mean the rides stop then to, or is the park open later ?x
Rio, yes…mazes & rides are open until 9pm during Fright Nights but then the park shuts up for the evening after this.
im going tommorow can i use an anuel pass?
Molly, you will need to book an annual pass ticket, (priced at £5 for standard Merlin passholders), to guarantee entry on the day of your visit to Thorpe Park…even if you have a Premium Merlin Pass, you will need to book although there is not additional charge with this pass.
Just wondering, do live actors come around the park during the day aswell as night? Also when you are walking around the park are the actors alowed to touch you? And scare you?
Chloe, that’s part of the full experience of Fright Nights at Thorpe Park…the unknown!
are the horror actors in the ques of the rides or in the ride?
Sam, there are horror actors wandering around the park but the main action takes place within the horror mazes, (complete with live horror actors!)
Do I have to buy a ticket in advance for fright night on 30th October? and if so how can I use 2 for 1 ticket from Sun newspaper on the gate?
Pam, the Sun 2 for 1 voucher for Thorpe Park is valid until 5 November, (except 27 & 31/10 & 3/11). You do not have to buy a ticket in advance for Fright Nights but as with any 2 for 1 voucher, there is not guarantee of entry if the park has reached capacity. Best to ensure you get there early on the day of your visit as Fright Nights can be very popular events.
Do you have to book online to go in the passing or can you just pay when you get there?
Billie, The Thorpe Park webiste states that The Passing is…. ‘a Fastrack only attraction and booking in advance is the only way to guarantee entry’ That suggests to me that you will be able to pick up tickets on the day at Thorpe Park as long as they haven’t reached capacity from online sales.
Well thanks for the advise! We leave our house in Belgium at 5 Am, so i think we’ll make it in time if the eurotunnel works normal.
I tought it would be a bit busy because previous week there where still hotels available, when i wanted to book yesterday there where no rooms available anymore…
Brecht, have you tried hotels available through Thorpe Breaks as they work with a number of hotels close to Thorpe Park and can offer great deals on a second day at the park, (around £6 per person)
Hey Liz,
I’m glad i found this page here. I have a question but i cant find a decent answer on the net, i even mailed thorpe park but they didn’t answer; we visit the park 26th of october. It’s a friday and still school there in the uk, so does this mean it won’t be busy during the day?
Thanks for your advise!
Brecht, I have to say I do think it will be busy at Thorpe Park on 26 October. Fright Nights at Thorpe Park, can be the busiest two weeks of the season & can reach capacity at the theme park. There are also some parts of the UK that will be having half term 22-26 October plus many schools take a teacher training day on 26 October if their half term runs 29 Oct to 2 Nov. If you plan to visit Thorpe Park during Fright Nights, I don’t think you will find a date that isn’t busy at the park.
can you be under 12 to go or do you have to pay an adult ticket?
Taylor, the Thorpe Park website states…”Fright Nights is open to all guests, although we would not recommend the mazes to anyone under 12 years old. The mazes are also not suitable for people of a nervous disposition, weak hearts, or those pregnant or prone to photosensitivity. Entrants must be over 1 metre in height to ride the many attractions at THORPE PARK.”
Me and my girlfriend were wondering if the fright night tickets included the passing?
Daniel, unfortunately the Fright Night ticket does not include entrance to The Passing horror maze. There is an additional charge of £3 per person for The Passing…all other horror mazes at Thorpe Park are included within your Fright Night ticket.
I’ve brought 2 1 day fright night tickets for the 3rd of November 2012 and I’ve been wondering if that means you can only go in thorpe park at night time or all day and night ???
Reece, your tickets will gain you entry to Thorpe Park both during the day & the evening, (so all day & night). Have a great time 🙂
I was wondering, if you go to Thorpe Park during the day but on a Fright Night, will the Fright Night make any difference to your experience if going at day?
Emily, Fright Nights at Thorpe Park offer you an opportunity to experience the rides in the dark, (the park stays open until 9pm) plus access the horror mazes that are located within Thorpe Park during Fright Nights. Often Fright Nights are particularly busy both during the day & evenings at the park so queues for the rides could be long. All horror mazes, (with the exception of The Passing maze), are included within your entrance fee..of course, it’s up to you whether you wish to experience them. Theming at the park becomes more ‘halloween’ styled but the rides remain the same.
Umm…
Im curious..
Will the mazes such as ‘ The Asylum ‘ Be included in the entry for Thorpe Park or do ya have to buy another ticket?? I needa know ASAP..
Cheeers 🙂
GreenNinja, all the mazes at Thorpe Park with the exception of The Passing are included within your entry ticket to Thorpe Park. The Passing is the new horror maze at Thorpe Park this year & incurs an additional charge of £3 per person.
Do the fright night tickets include entrance to the rides as well as the horror mazes? Please let me know as soon as possible because I need to book them. xx
All Fright Night Horror Mazes are located within Thorpe Park and thus you will need to purchase entry tickets to the theme park to access the horror mazes. Whilst the other horror mazes are included within your entrance ticket, The Passing horror maze is to be additional to your Fright Night Ticket at a charge of £3 per person. The Passing is a fastrack only attraction & so when booking your ticket online, you will be able to select your time slot. There are also fastrack tickets available for the mazes at additional cost.
Will I be able to use a 2 for 1 ticket from WHsmiths on Friday 15th if I go in at 10am?
Thanks for getting in touch – I think you will need to read the small print on the back of the voucher for this one as WHsmiths have handed out these vouchers at various times during the year. My WHsmith voucher has exclusions on dates for Thorpe Park during selected days during Fright Nights, so worth double checking. If the voucher is valid on 15th, you will be able to use it at 10am.
Alternatively, check out the Thorpe Park deals we have found that includes a 2 for 1 at Thorpe Park with Moneysupermarket:

Hope this helps.
Yo, I was just wondering, are the mazes open from 10 am to or is it just at night?
Thanks for getting in touch – the horror mazes all open at 4pm for Fright Nights at Thorpe Park. Saw Alive will continue to run during the day but all the other mazes will be opening at 4pm.
Hi, Fright Nights at Thorpe Park take place during select days in October each year. Currently if you book online with Thorpe Park, you can pick up Fright Night tickets from £25.99pp.
