New Coaster Planned For Thorpe Park 2024; Project Exodus

We’re always looking for Cheap Tickets for Thorpe Park but here’s some good news for those planning a future visit to the park.  Thorpe Park have just received notification that planning has been approved for a NEW coaster at this popular theme park in Surrey. Billed as the tallest coaster in the UK, this new attraction has recently been given the green light and should be up and running for the 2024 theme park season.

Standing at 236ft tall, this latest attraction will become the tallest roller coaster in the UK and will stand a mighty 10 metres taller than Stealth for those with a head for heights.  Now planning has been approved, Thorpe Park’s ‘Project Exodus’ should see the new coaster in place for the 2024 theme park season.  Once installed, this latest coaster at Thorpe Park, will top the tallest record held by Blackpool Pleasure Beach since 1994 with The Big One.

The new coaster will be situated within the former Old Town Area, (remember Loggers Leap?) at Thorpe Park where ‘visitors will be transported from the station structure around new track over water in an exhilarating experience.’ We know that that the ride will be partly positioned over water, with some sections looping at 43 and 50m, for added thrills plus the proposed site will also house a maintenance building, a food & drink outlet and photo shop.
