Capitalising on the success of Scarefest & Firework Nights where you can enjoy the rides in the dark, Alton After Dark gives you a further opportunity at the start of the theme park year.

Alton Towers now capitalises on this enthusiasm for visitors enjoying rides & coasters in the dark by extending the theme park day on selected dates in March. Known as Alton After Dark, customers can enjoy an opportunity to enjoy night rides at the park for no extra charge.

Running on 14, 15, 20,22, 27 & 28 March 2026, Alton After Dark extends the theme park day until 8pm. This is a great way to get more enjoyment from your theme park entry by gaining night access to many of the main thrill rides at the park.  Enjoy the following rides during the day or into the evening; Nemesis Reborn, Wicker Man, Oblivion, Runaway Mine Train, THI3TEEN, Katanga Cannon.
