10 Essential Tips to Save Money at Alton Towers
July 8th, 2010Alton Towers does not need to cost a fortune if you follow our handy hints and tips to save money:
Never pay full price at Alton Towers: there are an abundance of deals & discounts around on entrance charges, whatever you do shop around, (through topdogdays ofcourse!)
Consider an Annual Pass on Tesco: if you are likely to frequent theme parks regularly, you can pick up a 12 month Merlin Annual Pass for just £50 in Tesco Clubcard Vouchers.
Don’t buy fastracks, plan your day instead: arrive early as the first 60/90 minutes of the day are the quietest! Plan our your itinerary and head straight for the thrill rides.
Make use of Early Ride Time: annual passholders, hotel guests and tickets purchased online can all make use of the park an hour before general opening times. This is another way to avoid fastracks.
Use Single Rider Queues: instead of fastracks as this reduces your wait considerably.
Take a picnic:
Share a soft drink refill carton:
Check out come back deals: if you fancy another day at Alton Towers, consider a ‘tomorrow ticket’ that offers you discounted re-entry either the following day or another day in the season.
