Husband and myself have been members for some years. Was very disappointed when taking my stepfather to Avebury Manor today to find the 2 for 1 offer (i.e. friend free entry with member) excluded the manor house. This was not clear in the advert or form and only shown in the very small print in the terms and conditions. Felt very embarrassed when informed at the desk we would have to pay full fee for him for entry to manor house. Why make this offer when it doesn’t cover a visit?
Hi D’Anne, I was sorry to hear about your experience at the National Trust setting Avebury Manor. Topdogdays simply signposts to current deals & discounts to top visitor attractions such as the National Trust but does not have any operational influence over the deals themselves. The down side of any promotional deal is that unfortunately most deals do come with a quite an extensive small print section.
