The Eden Project; Activities for Thrill Seekers

Why not zip wire over the Eden Project or enjoy aerial views of the domes from a giant swing?  These offer guests & thrill seekers alike a chance to explore the Eden Project from a new perspective and are proving popular with visitors this season.  Follow our guide below for more details on these alternative activities taking place at the Eden Project.

The Eden Project; SkyWire

At 660 metres in length, the Skywire is England’s longest & fastest zip wire experience.  Suspended either side of the cliff face, this zip wire will have you literally flying over the Eden Project at speeds of up to 60mph.  Whilst there are additional charges in place for these activities, you do not need to pay Eden Project entrance charges to ‘enjoy’ these experiences and there are plenty of offers around too.

There are restrictions on age, (participants must be at least 8 years old), as well as height & weight restrictions.  Those under 14 years must be accompanied by an adult, (17 years +), throughout the duration of the activity with a parental/guardian disclaimer completed.

The Eden Project; Giant Swing

The Giant Swing offers you the chance to be suspended 19 metres in the air above the cliff edge with spectacular views of the domes below.  However it won’t be long before you forget the views as you free fall down at speeds up to 50mph before swinging back and forth until coming to a satisfying stand-still.

There are discounted combination tickets available for visitors that undertake more than one activity & groups can pick up discounts too.  Also worth also knowing that there are sometimes discounted offers available for those arranging subsequent trips – simply ask staff on the day of your visit for further details.

The Eden Project; The Drop

NOW open The Drop is a purpose built 10 metre tower that offers two experiences in one.  On one side you can elect to stunt jump down onto an ‘airbag’ or enjoy a ‘quick jump’ with a free fall simulator for those looking for extra thrills.
