Chessington World of Adventures 2012

Chessington World of Adventures

Whilst firmly part of the Merlin Group, I always feel that Chessington World of Adventures is the lesser known of the four main theme parks.  Alton Towers & Thorpe Park are firmly established as the thrill ride centres for the UK and Legoland is suitably recognised with it’s branded trademark behind it.

However, Chessington World of Adventures holds a distinctive appeal to me with it’s wide range of attractions, relatively quieter queue times whilst managing to retain something of the attraction from old.

Plenty of Chessington World of Adventures Deals too.

What’s Happening at Chessington World of Adventures?

It’s the ‘something for everyone’ theme park with a range of rides & attractions that will appeal to thrill seekers, younger customers right through to Grandparents.

Thrills for all the family at Chessington World of Adventures

Whilst the zoo reminds me of times from old, both the safari area, (Wanyama Reserve) & the Sea Life Centre are bang up to date and offers a well earned rest away from the queues.

The on site hotel is also a welcome addition that offers both residents & non-residents additional facilities close to the park. Great for a relaxing drink away from the crowds with a fantastic view of the African Savannah Experience.

New for 2012, is Madagascar Live, where these well known popular characters are brought to life in live shows throughout the day….young customers will love it!

Tips to Beat the Queues at Chessington

Chessington World of Adventures Deals

As with all Merlin Attractions, there are plenty of Chessington World of Adventure Deals that run throughout the year including 2 for 1 vouchers, come back deals & cheap ticket options.

I particularly like the Rainy Day Guarantee that runs at Chessington, that offers a FREE return visit, (for online bookings with CWOA), if it rains continuously for one hour or more, (plenty of terms & conditions with his offer).

This isn’t something I’ve seen at any other Merlin Attraction and a great way to reduce your financial outlay if the weather takes a turn for the worst!

Tips to Beat the Queues at Chessington World of Adventures

There are plenty of ways to reduce your wait times at Chessington World of Adventures; many of which won’t cost you a penny!  Check out our Tips to Beat the Queues at Chessington World of Adventures for further details.

Interestingly, hotel guests staying at the Chessington resort can access the theme park 30 minutes before the general opening times, allowing you an opportunity to get ahead of the queues before the park opens to the public!  Unfortunately, whilst Early Ride Time at Alton Towers is also open to passholders, this is not something available to passholders at Chessington.

The other great bonus with Chessington is there are plenty of non queue activities available at the park that offer you a break away from the more popular rides & attractions such as Madagascar Live, Land of Dragons Play Area or the Children’s, (petting), Zoo.
