1. National Space Centre; Back to Front

The Tranquillity Base at the National Space Centre houses many of the most popular interactive activities including the space simulator ride.   If you arrive early, why not head straight to the tranquillity base at the back of the attraction to make use of the exhibits before it gets too busy.

3. National Space Centre; Planetarium

You will given a time slot for your visit to the Planetarium as you arrive at reception. It can be worth requesting a later Planetarium slot to allow you time to tackle the most popular areas of the Space Centre earlier in the day before the queues build. Please note that a Planetarium show is only included within your first visit for those with annual passes, (additional cost for subsequent Planetarium visits).

5. National Space Centre; FREE Annual Pass Upgrade

Pick up a FREE annual pass upgrade for customers that purchase full price tickets either online or on the day of your visit.  This is a great way to save money throughout the year for those that are interested in returning later in the year. More details on this and other cheap ticket options over at National Space Centre Deals.

6. National Space Centre; Hold On Tight

Keep your tickets safe as this stands as your pre-booked ticket for the Planetarium as well as offering you access to a range of interactive features as you make your way around the setting.

8. National Space Centre; Picnics

With plenty of picnic tables available both inside & outside the setting, you’ll find that picnics are welcome at the National Space Centre. We were told the indoor seating by the Boosters Cafe was available for picnics plus the use of specific picnic rooms, (when not in use by school parties). On warmer days, there are picnic tables outside too plus lovely spots along the river that runs behind the National Space Centre.  Look out for the lockers area located by the entrance to the Space Centre.

9. National Space Centre; Parking

There is a small parking fee in place for the National Space Centre.
