Insider’s Guide to M & D’s Scotlands Theme Park

M&D's Theme Park

M & D’s Theme Park

M & D’s Theme Park is a compact family orientated theme park located on the outskirts of Glasgow.  Although the thrill rides cannot be compared to the likes Oblivion at Alton Towers or Blackpool’s Pepsi Max, they will cater for thrill seekers within a relaxed setting that works for all the family.  This theme park also offers more than just rides but comes with an indoor 10 pin bowling alley, soft play area & an exotic animal enclosure! Follow our money saving guide below to help you make the most of your visit to M&D’s Theme Park.

1. M & D’s Theme Park Deals

Look out for cheap ticket offers & promotions running against entrance charges at M&D’s.  More details available at M&D’s Theme Park Cheap Ticket Offers.

2. M&D’s Theme Park; Free Entrance

The good news is that there are no entrance charges in place to access the park so, for those that wish to accompany children rather than experience the rides, this works out well. Please note that adults may need to accompany young children on the smaller rides so worth double checking height restrictions before you plan to visit.

3. M&D’s Theme Park; Free Parking

Good to see that there are no parking charges in place at M&D’s Theme Park.

4. M&D’s Theme Park; Food & Drink

There are plenty of food outlets available around the park but if you are looking to cut the costs, bring your own picnic.  Whilst there are no lockers on site, the car park is located close by with plenty of picnic tables around the park.  Look out for the undercover area available for use on wetter days.

5. M&D’s Theme Park; Beat the Queues

Whilst there are no fastrack or single rider queues at this theme park, by taking a few simple steps to manage your day, your queue waits should be minimal.

1. Early Bird; the quietest time of any theme park tends to be the first 60/90 minutes so ensure you are ready to go the moment the park opens.

2. Thrill Seekers; best to undertake the main thrill rides early in the day as queues can quickly build for these popular attractions.

4. Pre-Booking; worth booking your 10 pin bowling early in the day to ensure availability.

5 Amazonia; if you are planning to visit Amazonia, worth checking out the available times of this interactive Amazonia experience before you decide to book a session.
