The National Football Museum offers both football memorabilia & interactive activities for footie fans of all ages. Along with Chetham’s Library & Free Lunchtime Concerts this is another FREE attraction set in the heart of Manchester. Whilst entrance maybe free, keep an eye out for the plethora of additional charge activities running that will quickly mount up if you are visiting with children.

1. With the additional spend activities, you have the option of purchasing ‘credits’ on a pay by activity basis or bulk buy a Football Plus+ family ticket that comes at a discounted price.

2. Ask at reception as you arrive what discounts are currently available with vend spend. During our recent visit, we were told that with any 1 credit spend, we could receive a FREE vend Commentary Challenge.

3. During peak times, it can be worth checking out if any additional vend credit offers are running either in The Metro or through Visit Manchester.

4. Lockers are available on site located next to the gift shop on the ground floor, (£1 non-refundable).

5. There is a limited but unusual range of play equipment located to the side of the Urbis building that younger children will enjoy.

6. Check out the viewing area on level 4 that offers an alternative perspective over Manchester and FREE!
