SEA LIFE London Aquarium; Top Tips & Tricks

1. Timed ticket sessions; if you book online, not only can you guarantee entry & enjoy online discounts but also pick up timed entry sessions too.  There are some initial queues caused by security checks so, on busy days, so worth opting to an early time slot.

2. Distinct Queues; there are 2 separate entry points to the attraction; one for those purchasing tickets on the day, the other for those with pre-purchased tickets.  It’s simple advice, but worth ensuring your are in the correct queue as you access the attraction.

3. Fastrack; unfortunately there is no longer a fastrack entry available at SEA LIFE London Aquarium, so if you want to bypass the queues, best to opt for an early timed ticket slot.

4. Navigation; during quieter times, you can move back and forth around the setting to enjoy your favourite attraction on more than one occasion.  On busier days, it’s a one way system in place so ensure you’ve enjoyed each area before moving on.  At times the path opens up into 2 lanes, so for those looking for a faster passed route, take the right hand side but remember there’s no stopping in this lane, (take the left hand side should you want to stop and enjoy).

5. Combination Tickets; look out for discounted combined entry tickets, (London Eye, Shrek’s Adventure, London Dungeon, Madame Tussauds) that can offer value for money with tickets valid for 90 days.

9. Virtual Reality Experience; this is an add-on attraction that can cause a pinch point  on busier days, There are 14 pods available, each offering a 5 minute experience, costing around £9pp.  There are no Merlin Pass discounts with this experience although deals are available for a second person participating.  To bypass this experience, simply take the right hand lane.

10; Merlin Pass Discounts; passholders can pick up a 20% discount off photo souvenirs available at the end of the tour.

11. Interaction; look out for Rockpool Explorers, near the end of the attraction, that allows you to touch select marine life that goes down particularly well with younger visitors.
