1. Friends Apartment Building

No trip to New York would be complete for avid fans of the popular TV show Friends, without paying homage to the Friends Apartment Building.  Whilst others might be heading for the Empire State Building Cheap Ticket Guide true fans are off to locate the exterior image of the apartment building that is synonymous with the show.

The building is located on the corner of Bedford St & Grove St in Greenwich Village. Whilst there is actually a coffee shop on the corner, I was disappointed to see it wasn’t named Central Perk! Walk further up Grove St, (12-21 Grove St), to see the exterior shots of where Ross/Ugly Naked Guy lived.

TOP TIP; look out for the range of On Location Tours available under the New York City Explorer Pass including Gossip Girl, the Sopranos Sites plus a TV & Movie Bus Tour!

3. When Harry Met Sally

Remember back to that famous scene in a New York deli from the popular movie blockbuster When Harry Met Sally? Here’s a chance for you to sit where Sally sat although did you know that Katz Deli was famous long before Meg Ryan & Billy Crystal took to the screens.  In fact, although it was packed on the day we visited, we seemed to be the only ones interested in the Harry Met Sally connection.  Look out the large sign hanging from the ceiling that pinpoints exactly where Sally sat.

Katz Deli can be found at 205 East Houston Street, (corner of Ludlow St), and do try out what she’s having as the food is pretty spectacular.
