New Ride For Thorpe Park!

Planning permission has been approved for Thorpe Park to build for a new indoor attraction to be in place for the 2016 season!  This is likely to be a significant addition to the park but so far, we’ve few details as to exactly we are in store for.

Whilst remaining tight-lipped as to what this new attraction may entail, we have gleaned the following information so far;

• The new attraction will be located close to No Way Out & Nemesis Inferno.
• The new building will span 2,620 square metres to a height of 10 metres.
• The attraction will have a ‘warehouse-themed appearance’.
• The building would contain “rusted and boarded up” windows complete with graffiti art and signage.
• The attraction will see the removal of the Chief Rangers Carousel.

To clear the proposed area, Thorpe Park are proposing to cut down 6 trees and demolish several buildings that include an arena space,a seating structure, basketball unit & a  games building.

Good to see that Thorpe Park are continuing to invest in new attractions going forward & we’ll bring you more details as they come in.
