1. LEGOLAND Windsor; Early Access

Visitors that extend their stay at the LEGOLAND Resort Hotel can take advantage of EARLY ACCESS into the park before it opens to the public.  Using a short cut into the park, hotel guests enter the park via Adventure Land where they will find a select few rides open.  This season the early access appear to relate to rides within LEGO City, (Coastguard HQ, LEGO City Driving School & L-Drivers), but worth double checking with the hotel reception on the day of your stay.

This early access also allows you to position yourself at the front of the queue for other popular rides at the park as they open for the day.  With some forward planning you can enjoy a good number of rides at the park within the first 60 minutes of your day!

2. LEGOLAND Windor; Book Online

Miss the first queue of the day by booking online at LEGOLAND Windsor that helps you to save money and bypass the queues at the ticket booths. Not only will this allow you to go straight to the admission gates but often the best online savings can be find directly with LEGOLAND Windsor.

To get the most from your day, plan to arrive 40/60 minutes before the park opens to the public.  This ensures you have parked up & collected/purchased tickets before LEGOLAND Windsor opens for the day.  Be ready to go the moment the park opens as the first 60/90 minutes of the day is generally the quietest time at the park.

3. LEGOLAND Windsor; The Welcome Area

The turnstiles into The Beginning, (a welcome area), generally opens around 30 minutes before the park/rides is accessible to the public. This allows you time for a quick toilet break, purchase Q-Bots or securing a locker before the park opens.

4. LEGOLAND Windsor; Navigation

LEGOLAND Windsor works hard to disperse customers as they enter the park. Once you have moved through The Beginning, you can join a queue to await the park’s opening.  There are 3 choices available to you;

i. Enter to the right, (by Lego Star Wars); this windy path will take you through to Knight’s Kingdom where you will find a number of main thrill rides such as The Dragon, Dragon’s Apprentice & Pirate Falls. For families with older children, this would be the better path to take into the park.

ii. Enter to the left, (by Funky Fashions & Sweet Stop); this path with take you towards Imagination Centre & Miniland. The biggest queues for younger children are within LEGO City. For those with younger children, this would be the better path to take heading straight towards rides such as Driving School & Boating School.

iii. Queue for the Hill Train; On particularly busy days, it’s quicker to walk and miss the first queue of the day!

 5. Don’t Do Distractions!

There is plenty to see & do as you enter the park and keeping children focused on the first ride of the day can be difficult.  Try to avoid stopping off on the slides, wandering around Minland or undertaking the Viking River Splash.  These are all areas that you can return to later in the day when queues build elsewhere – you are on a mission to avoid the queues!
