Start Planning Ahead For The Summer Holidays

The school summer holidays are just around the corner & with some forward planning they don’t have to cost you the earth this year.  We’ve put together a few simple steps to get ahead this summer…whatever the weather.

1. Free Workshops for Children

Always worth keeping your ears to the ground for FREE children’s workshops that can combine fun with learning….all on the cheap. Our favourites are;

Free Bike Workshops; run by Halfords for children age 7-11 years that help your child fix a puncture & other bike maintenance issues.

Kids Can Do It Classes; run by B&Q for children age 7-11 years that offers your child to make something from scratch.

2. Short Breaks On A Budget

It can be worth considering a short break package that combines an overnight stay with substantial discounts on entry to various visitor attractions such as;

Stay Play Explore Short Breaks; opt for an overnight stay and visit 3 from a choice of 5 visitor attractions from £129 per FAMILY.

Chessington Holidays; overnight accommodation, breakfast and 2 day tickets to Chessington World of Adventures.

3. Combined Tickets For Extra Savings

Look out for combined ticket offer that can give you substantial savings throughout the season such as a Thrill Hopper Ticket.

The Thrill Hopper offers you 1 visit to all four of the following; Alton Towers, Drayton Manor, WaterWorld & SnowDome.  Visits can be spaced out throughout the season or used at one time to enjoy a short break on a budget.
