3. Family Movies from £2pp

Pick up adult & child tickets to mid morning movies from just £2pp during the holidays. This is a great way to enjoy a visit to the cinema on a budget and whilst movies listed are not the latest releases, they do offer some popular choices.

4. Football Coaching Sessions

Children can pick up football coaching sessions throughout England with the FA Skills during the school holidays. These programmes are open to boys & girls age 5-11 years and run during each school holiday with the exception of Christmas. Sessions can be free of charge or capped at a small charge so worth double checking before you book. Due to high demand, children can sign up for one holiday session per day during each school holiday.

5. FREE Cinema Previews

Sign up with a cinema preview site that offers you the chance to pick up FREE movie screenings ahead of public release dates. If you can be flexible with your dates, this can be a great way to enjoy a free trip to the cinema or even your local theatre.

A great way to gain ‘free’ or discounted entry to top visitor attractions is by using loyalty club points & vouchers. 12. In My Backyard

Sometimes we can all forget what we have around us & just a little re-packaging can make an old haunt new & exciting for the kids.

Skate Parks; they’ve been sprouting up everywhere over the past few years & children love to watch even if they don’t feel up to taking part.

Fly a Kite; the old ideas can be the best & a great way to spend quality time with the kids.

Libraries; look out for classes & workshops, (usually free), running in the school holidays.

Cycle Paths; Local authorities have worked hard to improve the cycle paths over the past few years so why not dust off those bikes and take the kids for a jaunt.

13. Cheap Come Back Deals

A number of visitor attractions offer inducements to encourage a second day at an attraction that can be worth considering such as return tickets to Warwick Castle that can be as low as £1pp when booking online.  Alternatively take advantage of FREE return visits to Leeds Castle when you purchase a standard day ticket.  Check out your local visitor attraction to see what come back offer they are running this season.
